    Evening all :)
Well done on the weight loss Ziggy. I could do with losing at least a stone, probably nearer 2, but struggling with motivation (and cake) atm :o
    Anyway, today:
    HG fruit with breakfast
Charity event at the shop where I rent my sales unit, so I took cakes I made yesterday and made a donation :)
    Nothing else spent :A
Made a huge turkey and veg curry this afternoon, from ingredients I already have in, so we had some of that for dinner. The rest is in the fridge. I will probably freeze some, as there is loads of it. Anyway, that enabled me to use up some bendy celery, some leftover gtavy, chunks of cooked turkey from the freezer, and various other bits and pieces :)
Spent most of the evening sorting out a space in the kitchen for my spice collection, which is large. It was hidden away in the larder before, and it was difficult to see what I have. The result of this was several duplicates and a couple of triplicates :o Anyway, they are easier to get at now :)
Also sorted out my larder so it no longer looks like a disaster area :)
    Cleaned the kitchen window sill
And I still have some sales items to put away, and the last new sheet, which I dried on the line this morning, to fold and put away, so will do those in a minute.
Off out to a local event tomorrow, and from the weather forecast it sounds as though waterproofs and wellies will be necessary  Tickets are already paid for, and we will take our own sandwiches. Might buy a coffee and maybe some nice foodie bits to bring home with us though :)

  • Great work Ziggy have you been following a plan?
  • Wow ziggy what an achievement! Good for you. And you look fantastic :D

Dawn thank you I did manage to eat lunch and something for tea. And yesterday my appetite returned! I'm now sleeping again, eating and no longer crying constantly. I feel I'm on the mend. I'm also going to see a solicitor to look at taking my employer to tribunal. We'll see....

Glad it's the weekend and we are all together. Madam is going out with dd for the afternoon so hopefully oh and I will go for a walk and maybe a pint :D

I am currently finishing off a hoodie for madam. Am using a thin jumper of mine to line the hood that I stained and have never been able to get it out but don't want to throw it away. Hoping that I will have some inspiration and be able to get the stain out *spoiler alert* which I haven't been able to do for 2 years! Glad to finally make use of it and not send to land fill :money:

Get oh to give me a hand tidying up ;)

    roast this blinking beetroot!

Need to finally do this repair for my friend! I promised to give her the item on Monday. It really will be a 15 minute job! :o

do school uniform load and line dry. Will do extra spin :money: Need to also put away washing on airer

Must send my bank details to customer so she can pay me for pads

Go through fridge, sort out, make sure nothing goes to waste - I may be a bit late for this :(:o

Ok that's all for now. Hope you all a have weekend

    Good Morning Everyone

BB - Hope you start to feel better soon
HK - Hope you're not overdoing things
DNMS - So glad you are getting some advice
PF - Loosely following the WW plan but mainly its exercise, meal planning, portion size and just trying to make each day the best it can be - which is much like my small things mentality.

Had a productive morning so far - while the sun was out and just a few spits and spots of rain we managed a tip run, dropped off a RM parcel and now home watching the rain absolutely belting down. Today we will:

Check Bank & made PAD - Done
    Stew in SC - Done
Declutter - WIP - bits added to various bags (charity, daughter, mum etc)
    Washing - Done
    Ironing - Done
Rub down & wax pan stand/butchers block thing - Done
Clear junk drawer in kitchen again - Tomorrow (did under sink instead)
Bake Apple Tray bake - Done
    Swagbucks - Done
Purge a few emails - Done a few
Enter comps - Done a few
    Surveys - Done
All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer - Done

    Evening all :)
Been out today with OH and the dog. We went to a country fair event just a few miles away from home. Didn't get too wet. I bought the tickets in advance online (saved £4 as opposed to paying at the gate), and took our own sandwiches and water. We did buy a coffee, I bought some nice foodie things to bring home - these events tend to have artisan cheesemakers etc selling their produce, so not cheap, but a treat :) And OH bought me a lovely hand made chopping board from a wood craft person he got takling to. Now OH can make chopping boards  but this was a very nice one (made from prettier wood than the oak he tends to use for most things), and he likes to buy presents etc from other craftspeople. Call it my birthday present, though a month early :)
    Other things:
    HG fruit with breakfast
Put sales stuff plus our camper van bedding plus a spare duvet away in the eaves cupboard in the loft conversion. Not moneysavng per se, but it involved carting stuff up lots of stairs and crawling about with it in the cupboard, so it was free exercise I guess :rotfl:

Picked a few raspberries and blueberries, the rain isn't doing the raspberries any favours.
Got a few items dry on the line, surprisingly. It is very windy between bouts of rain though.

Noticed that one of the courgette plants had collapsed, so I cut off the few small courgettes left on it and consigned the plant to the compost heap.
Weeded the strawberry bed, plus the space where the courgette came out from. Cut off lots of strawberry runners and composted them, there are strawberry plants everywhere  Every year I end up giving loads of them away so they don't take over completely. I will probably do this in the spring when I see how many have survived the winter (all of them I expect!). I will need to do this with the wild strawberries too, when I can get at them.

Planted a parsley in a bare patch. It is a supermarket one, so I don't know if it will grow very well. Sometimes they do and sometimes not.
Watered the seedlings in the greenhouse

Dinner was curry (made yesterday) on a jacket potato, pudding was a home grown pear each :)
    Might make a cake...

Another productive day which I'm really pleased about, weather has been awful all day, nothing to go out for and I really don't want/need any coughs or colds with my weak immune system. Am hoping that by keeping so busy today that I will sleep tonight as my sleep has been shocking averaging about 3 hours per night

Hope you've all managed to have a good day despite the weather.

    Night all x
