Tory poll lead plunging. Johnson back in hung parliament territory.
I presume I'm not the only one who wanted to throw something at the TV when he was pontificating about why we shouldn't let terrorists out early, as if his miserable government had nothing to do with this, in the wake of the latest terror attack.

The Conservatives need to do more, but Labour don’t seem to see Islamic terror as something bad.0 -

I presume by "these idiots," you mean immigration from the subcontinent.
Perhaps you'd care to explain what impact you think leaving the EU will have on our international immigration policy?0 -

Patent nonsense. The Tories have cut 20,000 police. The Tories have cut rehabilitation for offenders.
When warned about the risks of freeing Islamic terrorists early, Boris Johnson said there was, "no money" to deradicalise them.0 -

The last Labour Government brought in legislation called IPP sentences which meant that terrorists/ high risk violent and sex offenders would not get released until their risk was manageable in the community. The Tory Govmt got rid of that law so that such prisoners would be released automatically at the half way stage of their sentence but be subject to longer licences. I know this because I supervise such people myself, it's my job. My job was made much harder by the ending of IPP sentences and by the cutting of 40% of funding to the criminal justice system. Nothing to do with cups of tea! Boris Johnson has just been lying through his teeth about this on Marr and he is also suddenly saying he is going to invest more money......while completely ignoring the last ten years the tories have been in govmt!0 -

Most of them were born in this country.....and for those that weren't how exactly will this filtering work.... especially when this Govmt has a history of slashing funding for the Borders Agency?0 -

Boris, fortunately, has never described genocidal terrorists as his friends while Corbyn has.
No-one, you included, actually believes that the current Labour leader is anything but sympathetic to people like the latest attacker, who he sees as freedom fighters.0 -

[QUOTE=Davy_Jones_II;76556233]You can’t deradicalise someone who has faith that he’s doing God’s work when he slaughters kuffars.

You can, actually.0 -
Davy_Jones_II wrote: »You seem a bit confused here. The last Labour government has virtually nothing in common with the current Labour Party, so you don’t get to sidestep the terrorist supporter Corbyn being held to account by pointing to what Blair or Brown did.
I'm not confused at all. What I actually said was factual....what you wrote was an unverified smear or at best your opinion. Did the tory Govmt end the IPP sentences or not? Corbyn said on Sophie Ridge this morning a new Labour Govmt would bring back proper assessments in prison and no person convicted of terrorism offences would be released wiithout it being scrutinised by the parole board and after they had undergone psychological testing. I explained to you that process was stopped by the tories when they repealed the IPP sentence, (Interests of Public Protection) and therefore dangerous people were released when they shouldn't have been thereby presenting a risk of harm in the community. Nothing to do with cups of tea.0 -

Actually Corbyn has never said anything which shows he is sympathetic to those that use violence; Whereas Johnson has been busy pouring his invective of hate against people generally... women or gay people or black people or moslem people in trite newspaper columns and is nothing but a hack who displays an ignorance of terrorism and the causes of it. He's a populist liar in the mould of Trump who says whatever it takes to keep him in power.0
