Afternoon all, counting down the days until we go on our little break next week. Really need the time to refresh and unwind before the madness of school and work starts again.

Picked up the kids yesterday afternoon, they had a great time at my brother's. Dd started a new job today, only clearing tables but it's a bit of money and she is looking at trying to get into a local supermarket as the pay would be better.

In the lull before pay day on Thursday, then need to get a few things for the kids and might treat myself to a new shirt for the holiday.

I put out a post on fb advertising spaces for my business and within 5 minutes they were full! Let's hope they all turn up when it starts in a couple of weeks.

No debt payments until Thursday either, just have to be patient.

  • Morning all, up and out this morning to go and get my bike fixed. Just needed a new chain, looking forward to actually using it more now.

A very spendy but planned spendy day already. I've been with ds to get his walking shoes and socks for his trip, plus we also got his trousers and treated the family to a new toasted sandwich maker. DS got some swimming trunks for our little break. Spendy but not outrageous.

I've paid an extra sum to dh computer, annoying that it takes a few days to do through so can't update until next week as it will also take some interest off.

    Debts:

Loan - current balance £1921.67 - next payment on 25th Sept

DH computer - current balance £2568.12 - made extra payment of £80, waiting for restructured amount

Mum - current balance £100 - last payment on 6th September

Mattress - current balance £194.88 - 4 more payments to go

    Total balance: £4784.67

Enjoying a chilled out next week or so as no clubs next week, only working Sunday night and I have been prepared and sorted out bits and pieces for September. I have a waiting list for my own business and plenty of work between now and Xmas. Just need to do some batch cooking before we go away next week and then we go again.

  • Morning, catching up with work today. We had a fabulous few days away, lots of relaxing, lots of eating and really enjoyed just chilling out.

We got back at lunch time on Sunday and because I had already sorted everything for school it was nice just to potter around unpacking and not stressing.

Kids went back to school yesterday and I still had a day to myself so I painted the rest of the banisters in the attic, mowed the front lawn, did 2 loads of washing and went to a community meeting in the evening.

Today I've just had a quick catch up with my colleague and now going to spend some time writing a list of everything I need to do, there is a lot!

Anyway on to finances, we spent a lot on food so the account is not looking healthy and need to be as frugal as possible until pay day. I have paid the last amount to my Mum so that debt is now clear, I alos paid for our garden waste collection but that money was available in the annual bills pot so have transferred it over.

I should hopefully have lots of new kids for my own business this evening, fingers crossed they all turn up!

Right best get on, lots to do.
