  • Out early this morning to volunteer then home for lunch and made soup out of the chicken carcass from yesterday and we have chilli for tea tonight which dh is making.

Trying to motivate myself to hang up clothes and do the dishes! If I just get it done I can relax with a cup of tea afterwards.

Email received from printer cartridge recycling, will get £15.20 at some point although they haven't specified how long payment is going to take.

Nothing else going on today, have to work a bit tomorrow after volunteering then the start of another working week and looking forward to updating signature on Monday.

  • It's Monday there's debt busting going on! Car and loan payment gone out, I've only adjusted a bit for the loan as the balance won't refresh until tomorrow so might be even more to reduce the figure by:

Extra income for debt payments £199.22
    Car payments left 18/21
    Current debt £10,218.46

I should get in the 9ks in February as I will definitely pay another extra car payment, it will be the lowest amount of debt we've had for years!

Had a busy but nice weekend although ds has been poorly and is off school today, he still has hallucinations in the night when he's ill and is absolutely boiling hot! Better today but horrible cough so want to make sure he is fully well instead of spreading germs.

We stuck to the menu over the weekend and still have some leftovers so will use over the next couple of days, need to get the house straight and put away a host of washing plus prep for some competitions on Thursday and Friday.

    Have a lovely day, H x

  • DS off school again today he was really feeling poorly last night but had a better sleep and woke up late this morning, he has very kindly given his cold to me though!

Updated figures from loan payment, an extra £6.30 off the debt which is always good no matter how small.

Dealing with a complaint at work that isn't even true and hate when people that weren't even at the event try to say things happened when they absolutely did not!

Not much else happening today, need to get lots of prep done and the tomorrow go and collect all the equipment.

    Have a lovely day, H x
  • Glad DS is on the mend and sharing is caring :rotfl:

Well done on the extra loan payment, it all helps.

  • Ah had a reply from said person, they are disappointed that his staff members claims are dismissed but we will agree to disagree! No mate your staff were wrong it didn't happen! Apparently his pupils are the better team and will prove it at the final!

Ah no your poor DS. I used to get hallucinations when I was younger too. It's rotten. I once scared the life out of DS in the middle of the night as I told him there was a woman floating in the corner of the room :rotfl:

Such good news that you are in nearly in the 9s and also that it is the lowest debt you've had.
    Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
    DFD:Nov 22/June 22
    Mortgage: €199,712
    MFD: March 2042/July 2034
  • Ooh clearmydebts that does sound scary!

Feeling rotten today, I had to cancel clubs yesterday and today which means a loss in income but I absolutely can't pass these germs on to the kids! I have treated myself to a sandwich because I was feeling sorry for myself, I also need to pop to Mr T for some printer cartridges and paper to get some paper work ready for Friday as won't have time tomorrow, I will get the money back from work. Expenses ready to submit on Friday of £275, I will keep £100 in the account to pay back train fare but hopefully will be able to get another car payment made.

DS gone back to school today, waiting for dh pay day and that's about it.
