Afternoon folks, just having a few minutes to catch up before starting to make lunch and then make sure the kids are all sorted for school in the morning including ironing their uniforms. Ds has lost one PE sock so will have to replace that tomorrow and also can't find his jumper. Dinner monies added to their accounts and shoes cleaned, will be good to get back into a routine again.
Last payment for the car repairs went out today so that's £90 back into the account next month and I will transfer it to the savings fund which will build to pay annual insurances etc. £50 transferred to the emergency savings fund, need to start again and when the debt has gone I will increase this amount.
I need to pay for my train ticket to Cardiff and will go through cashback as usual, I will also have another trip in February which is a pain both for the train fare and also the clubs that I have to cancel to be able to attend.
Back to work tomorrow, need to catch up on emails and also prepare for the month ahead.

Howdy, kids up bright and early this morning to go back to school amazing that throughout the holiday they were so lazy! DS not happy about going back and DD ok although a bit stressed as she has her first GCSE exam on Wednesday and has not enjoyed the book for it. It's 'Of Mice and Men' and she will be fine but it's not one of her favourite subjects.
I've been replying to emails this morning for work and need to fill out my planner for the month.
Nothing with the finances today, need to pop out to buy a bit of veg to go in a soup for tea and the will meal plan for the rest of the week.
I've decided that my house is still a mess, just things everywhere and one big job that needs doing is the shed. We really need an outdoor shed to put the bikes and my sports equipment in and then the main shed can be developed into a store room/utility but all that involves taking out a large area of brickwork/path in the garden to flatten it and make a standing for the shed. The utility I want done properly with a new pitched roof so we can put the kayak in the eaves of it and also move the washing machine in their plus a sink and drying area for our outdoor kit. Ah dreams!! For now though it's a case of doing a tidy up.
Anyway my plan is to do one room a day except for dd room and the attic which is dh domain and try and keep on top of it, I am on strike though as the family moan when I move their things that have been dumped and I put then in a pile in their rooms, so now I'm not touching any of their things for a week just putting my things away and they can see how messy they are!! I've done the bathroom this morning and vacuumed upstairs.
Just cooking my lunch and then meeting dh in a bit for a short run in the hills near where he works.

Good morning, taking it easy this morning as home late from Cardiff last night so tired but have lots to do today as have a busy weekend with work and volunteering.
Need to be careful with the pennies due to buying food whilst in the city and dinner at the hotel, obviously will get it all back but not until next month and still waiting for last months expenses to be authorised. Anyway it was a good team day, and our CEO spoke to my colleague and I about a project he wants us to plan and host this summer with some extra pay for our time, waiting to find out how much that will be but would be good to get some extra income to throw at the debt.
Finally had one of the survey payments of £25, have transferred this to the pot so current figures look like this:
Extra income for debt payments £93.15/£585
Car payments left 20/21
Current debt £10,746.70
I need to get on and do quite a few things today:
* Get dressed!
* Get some medals out of the lock up at club
* Answer a few emails
* Sort out roster for volunteering this weekend
* Get refreshments for officials for the weekend
* Update business accounts and send invoices for next block of sessions, promote one of the sessions
* Order some folders for club welcome packs
I'm sure there's something else, right best get on with the day!

Evening all, popping on before I go to bed as an early start tomorrow although might be back early from volunteering as bad weather expected so may need to cancel the event.
A good day, all the jobs on my list have been done plus I managed to get some washing out on the line before it was raining. Also cashback cleared so another £30 to add to the pot and will transfer over when it hits the bank account.
We all went swimming this evening for the first time in ages, had a great time except that I accidently headbutted my dh on the eye as he didn't see me swimming towards him. He has a lovely bruise under his eye now, oops!
Extra income for debt payments £123.15/£585
Car payments left 20/21
Current debt £10,746.70
See you at some point over the weekend, H x1
