Morning all, well it has been a rubbish few days as all of us have been poorly and we have been lazy with food, hopefully now everyone pretty much on the mend and can sort ourselves out this week and get back on track with menus and stuff in the house.
I do have some exciting news though, it's taken me about an hour this morning to make another car payment due to terrible website so ended up phoning but it's done and as the balance of our debt was £20.52 over the £10k I decided to make an additional payment to the credit card to bring us into the £9ks :j:j:j:j:j:j Really pleased with this and determined to keep this going.
Car payments left 17/21
Current debt £9995.52
Plan for today is to tidy up the house, I have a new kid starting at my session later which is great and 2 more tomorrow so will catch up on business finances - I need to get the bill changed though as there is an extra session on it which I didn't do.
After volunteering on Saturday I took the rubbish from the front garden to the tip and now can get on with clearing the bedding area ready for the herbs.
I have a couple of quiet weeks with work and then off for half term, need to get myself out running again and also have decided to get my hair cut as it's just a mess.
Hope everyone is well, H x1 -

Today has been a difficult day, the funeral of the gentleman I mentioned previously. In testament to the person he was and the way he touched so many people the crematorium was packed and people had to stand outside there simply was not enough room. People came from all over including my colleagues from South Wales and also the Mayor of the large city where he worked!
On the way home I called my dh from a services just near to where he works and he came down for a hug and a chat then we came home together.
Tonight and every night my kids will get big hugs!
So we need to crack on, we need to do more things together that doesn't have to cost any or much money but be together as a family.
In money news I've had the payment from the cartridge recycling and also from the receipt snapping app so another £20 towards the next car payment. I've also spent a bit (£15) on getting my hair cut shorter, I only went in to make an appointment but she could fit me in straight away. Feels so much better.
Right see you tomorrow, H x2 -
Morning all, another busy day ahead but thankfully mostly at home. I need to sort out some bits and pieces for work, get some cleaning done in the house and pop out to check part of the route where we have our weekly event as some work is being done there and need to see if it will affect the course.
Not a lot happening money wise as this is the lull in the month, I have moved the money from the printer cartridges and also the cashback from bank account into the next savings for the car and currently have £43.00 in there. This is extra to the plans to use my expenses towards another payment and also March's water and council tax break. I do need to make sure I put little bits into the savings accounts as it will soon come around for the annual bills for insurances to come through.
Today I also need to update my business accounts and catch up on some surveys.

Hi H,
Glad the funeral went well, big hugs to you xxx
Yay to the extra money coming in.
Have a lovely day xx2 -
Phew just sitting down for a breather after doing the food shop, 4 different shops to get the best prices for what we want but luckily every shop is only 5 minutes from home. Made a mistake of buying chili flakes instead of chili powder and then realising not only do we have a very large jar of chili flakes that dh got for Xmas but the recipe needed the powder!! Only 95p and they will be used.
Washing is almost finished then need to get on the line whilst the sun is out, also need to clean the bathroom today and vacuum upstairs.
Spring is around the corner, the bulbs I planted are starting to poke through, although the weather for Sunday looks horrendous - definitely a cooking day.
I have lots of things around the house that need doing whilst I off, we're not decorating yet but there are still bits and pieces that can move the work on ready for that time.
Garden:
* Check on the compost and give it a good mix
* Clear the bed out the front and start growing herbs from seed
* General tidy up front and back
House
* Give every room a deep clean
* Paint front door
* I figured out that we could remove a lot of the in built cupboard in the bedroom ourselves and then can see in there to remove the wallpaper, need to empty cupboard and tidy up as it's a mess.
* Try and source 2 chests of drawers ideally for free or very cheap.
* Clear up the shed, it's a big mess in there!
Small income today as the £5 from receipt website has cleared so now the total for extra payments is £48, had to move some money around to pay for business costs but will be slightly cheaper next time as both centres had an extra day on my bill so will get a free one next time.
Right best get on, H x2 -
