Good morning, always exciting to see the next balance refresh no matter how small, loan payment was £65.59 after interest and also paid £26.01 to credit card. Almost paid off £1k since just before Xmas which I'm really pleased with even though there's a long way to go.
Today I'm planning on sorting out my cupboard and clothes and try and remove more of the frame, I will take the stuff to the tip tomorrow then, I also need to get fuel and prepare for the meeting this evening. Ooh and must do this meal plan!
Pay day is next Tuesday and then another lovely car payment and loan payment to go out, hurry up expenses I need to get ds sorted in his room.
Have a lovely day, H x4 -
Well up late this morning but I was out late at the meeting last night, well worth going though.
When I got home and getting undressed something fell out of my jeans pocket, intrigued I saw that it was a folded note and turned out to be an old £10! Really strange as it must have been in the very small square pocket at the front, also weird that I brought them from a charity shop a few weeks ago and they have been washed several times. I took along the note to the bank this morning to change for the new version and I've sent over £10 to the account that I'm saving for the next car payment.
Yesterday I cleared out my cupboard and started taking it apart but I couldn't do as much as I wanted as it's got a frame that needs a professional to take out, I tidied up my clothes and I can see in there now to strip the remaining wallpaper which I'll do tomorrow. Today I've not done much except put some laundry away and also tidied the gardens, I haven't cleared the bed yet as it's freezing and raining again.
Feeling a bit lethargic today, no motivation but have run club this evening so hopefully it will spur me into action!
A few surveys to do and make lunch for the kids and me, H x3 -
Great finding £10 note, love it when that happens.
Enjoy your day xx

Well half term is very quickly coming to an end and what a rubbish time with the bad weather but we are very fortunate not to have anything to deal with except one fence panel to do a small repair, there are many flooded roads across the county and so not able to drive anywhere. I haven't done all on my list of jobs but I have stripped the wallpaper in the bedroom so now we can't do the next stage until we are ready to get in the professionals.
3 days until pay day and excited about the next payments going out, I need to get my extra income up again to help with this debt need to use my school contacts to get the information out in the local community. Another £5 voucher redeemed from a survey site and another near to pay out.
DH is cooking a pork roast for dinner and we have had some lovely homemade breads over the last few days, love having time to cook, dd is making a ginger cake and ds is at the friend's house and I need to pick him up in a few minutes. Tomorrow I have a race but not racing as supporting others to do the run then Monday is back to work! I have more time off at the end of March so will be on count down again
Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend, H x3 -

Everything getting really busy although I do have some more leave in March, I'm looking after myself more as I build up towards my big event in September I went to my first Yoga class this morning!
Finances slipped a bit last week so need to reign it in this month, must do a meal plan from tomorrow and restart getting out the cash for weekly shopping as it's too easy to buy little bits and pieces. Loan and car payments went out yesterday so my debt payments since just before Xmas have hit £1,246.25 / £ 11.088.31, I think that's more than we've paid off in a year. Still need to get this extra income bringing in more but really pleased, when dh gets paid I will make another car payment and this balance will be under £3k.
I need to do my budget for March, I'm away with work next weekend so need to pay for train fare plus still waiting for expenses - I'll be submitting the next one before that is paid!
Volunteering at the weekend and dh is hopefully going to use his Xmas present of a flying lesson on Saturday afternoon if the weather is ok.

Yippee expenses finally authorised but goodness knows when that is likely to be paid, I think I'll take ds to choose a mattress when he gets home from school, it's just across the road. I need to update ynab for March and I have 2 birthdays and my parents anniversary to get gifts for.
Change of plans for the weekend due to the bad weather, might need to cancel volunteering away as not enough people to run the event at the moment, dh flight has been postponed too.
We should find out in the next few weeks if dh is getting a pay rise and bonus, his bonus used to fully pay for a family holiday each year but get no where near that now although anything is better than nothing. He wants to put a deposit on a new computer and then his computer will go to dd, we'll see how much we get before making any plans but would like to treat the kids.
Hope everyone has a good weekend, H x3
