Yeah i bet you have, to me it sounds like you have had a nice little scam going and now you trying to come across as a victim.

Do you have any evidence to support your belief? If not, please retract your allegation.

...your own words on this thread are enough to confirm you are a chancer. You're wrong...end of story...get over it!

Nobody knows what the real reason is and it doesn't matter what the reason is because they can ban anybody even for no reason. So the first misconception is that a person who is banned deserves to be berated. No they dont because you dont know the reason. It could be for being a shoplifter or for no reason.
Its their choice to ban anyone for any reason as you say. Such freedom is bound to lead to abuse.

Ive been blamed on this forum for being banned and also for the behaviour that led to the ban.

Ive already justified my behaviour and given reasons to show that they are the real culprits.

The issue of banning people is separate. And I think you agree that its irrational to ban innocent people for no reason.

Banning people from supermarkets that rely on them daily to get their food to sustain their health is selfish and malicious even if its not illegal.
These supermarkets have monopolised the food market and its an abuse of their powers even if its legal. Its a loophole that needs to be fixed.
Its double standards to say supermarkets cant ban you for your race or religion but for anythIng else they can.

Ok so you know they can ban anyone.
You know its not illegal or against your rights.
You know taste is personal and one person will like something someone else hates.
The supermarket have not accused you of anything

What is the actual point of this thread?
You are just going round and round in circles and achieving nothing.
If they have refused to keep refunding for the same item then buy that item from another place or stop eating it

The point is to show that its a fallacy to accuse someone of being a scammer or chancer because
they've dared to exercise their right to obtain a genuine refund each time theyre entitled to it.
There are NO LIMITS on the number of refunds by law. And theres no good reason there should be.

The second point is that theres obviously a grey area when it comes to deciding whether a complaint is genuine or not.

Thirdly, supermarkets are very powerful organizations that have too much freedom to abuse their position and intimidate consumers from claiming too many refunds by imposing bans which causes severe hardship for some of us.

Supermarkets dont care about consumer complaints as nothing ever changes as a result.

Going to another supermarket is rubbish advice because every supermarket uses the same tricks.

so dont shop in a supermarket. Simple.
Just use a local butchers for meat, greengrocers for fruit and veg etc.

you are not FORCED to use a supermarket, it might be more convenient for you but you still have a choice.

What i cannot understand is why you still want to shop in them.

If i felt the same way as you do i would give them a wide birth and support the independent shops.

If you cant or wont use smaller shops your argument is pointless. you are just banging your head against a brick wall and getting all worked up over nothing you have any control over.

Life is too short to fight battles you will never win.

I've read a lot of nonsense on this forum over the years but OP's complaint really is up there.

Fred's either post-building or he's a bored regular and is looking to build an argument out of nothing.

Fred put yourself in the position of the shopkeeper (small or large), what would you do if the same customer kept coming back for refunds ?

How many times have you claimed a refund in what period?

others have said avoid supermarkets but of course if you used a small shop and continued in the same way they would also ban you

    ps
I have nver worked in a supermarket
  • Okay fred, the easiest way to resolve this is for you to post on here and tell everyone exactly what you want them to say and that way, when they've done that you can go away happy knowing that you are being unfairly picked on by the management of the supermarket and everyone agrees with you.

Surely by now, you must realise that not a single person here agrees with you so what does that tell you (apart from the fact that we all work in supermarkets)?

Hmm, these threads repeating the same arguments and counter arguments usually seem to fade away after the third page. Fred seems able to press a lot of peoples buttons :)
