But of course being a rottweiler she's a big, scary, nasty dog. You could possibly drown in her spit or be wagged to death, but only if she really liked you!
Gale, being soft on animals is surely what having pets is all about?
(Aside: hound-dog has decided to snuggle on the sofa - can't really feel my feet any more)Proud to be a Clob Clubber :beer:0 -
This was when she was skinny and new...

And the terribly uncomfortable life she lives now...

what a gorgeous dog. When my rescue dog was alive he slept on my bed along with my 3 rescue cats......luckily I worked nights so my girlfriend had some space.
Love the photographs

Our 2 cats sleep in the living room, usually on the couch, sometimes in front of the fire when it's on, or anywhere else they feel like! We tried buying cat beds but they ignored them and chose their own sleeping places. Cat hairs seem to migrate all over the house. We have machine-washable throws on the couches where the cats lie, which makes things slightly easier.0

Stop it, she'll get big headed - I've already told her she's now famous!
I can't believe some people pay hundreds of pounds for an overbred pedigree dog or cat. There are so many lovely animals that deserve a good home and become the best pets ever. Ellie cost us about 70 washing up sponges (she used to eat them) and the arm of the sofa, but with love and attention she is the best dog (also companion, friend and wannabe bath buddy ) that you could ever ask ask for!Proud to be a Clob Clubber :beer:0 -
 We have a resue dog (cross whippet/collie).She sleeps on a wicker chair outside our bedroom door. She also now has our sheepskin rug to snuggle into.We had a rescue dog before her who was not allowed upstairs. Our presnt dog was badly treated and very nervous and taking her upstairs was the only way to stop her shaking and crying.0

Our spaniels - Springers, hence crazy  - sleep in their baskets in the kitchen, although the bossier one has a tendency to oust her mate out of his bed in the middle of the night and get it there herself. This sets him off on a barking frenzy and results in me having to get up at stupid times to sort it out . It's lovingly known as 'Basket Wars' in our house.
Our cat sleeps wherever he likes, though mostly on our bed and with requests for food/to be let out - again at silly o'clock (though OH sorts this one). And we thought nights would be easier when the children grew up.............
