I knew the inner domestic goddess would fall asleep again quite quickly, and she has. I got up this morning, washed the last set of blinds, made breakfast and then crashed into nothingness.
DS has tonsillitis and I had to go out for medicine for him, but am still claiming my nsd.
Made it to my mam's for a catch up - I am still exhausted. 4 weeks into the summer hols and I don't feel even a little bit recovered. My mam is blaming my mental stress. Well if only I could do something about that... like get my ex out of my life for good.
Nothing to report this end - I can't even be bothered with watching telly tonight. My sleep is all over the place again at the moment which never helps.

    PheoniX enjoy your new kitten!
CCL sorry for your ongoing troubles, sending hugs

I've done a small shop in Mr T and an even smaller one in Mr A; writing down all my spending to try to keep to my budget. Bought a fitted sheet in Mr T that was half price, ready for DD2 to take to uni.

Paid a chunk off my CCs today, using some of my self employment money.

Went for a walk by the river and mowed the lawn.

Gratitudes - clean bedding dried on the line; nice day pottering at home; lovely walk by the river and found lots of ripe blackberries to go back and pick another day :)

A lot was done yesterday but as ever, not as much as I had hoped to do. I need to curb my unrealistic expectations or be kind to myself and focus on what I have done. I am doing much more then i was previously. When I started with the Specialist Weight management Service 6 months ago, one of my goals was to do housework in 15 minute chunks, with a starting target of 3 x 15 minutes a day and working up to 10 x 15 minute chunks. I'm now mostly at the top end of that scale and it's heavy tasks including gardening, putting furniture together and moving furniture.

There is only a small patch of kitchen left to clear (3 chairs and the remains of what was under the table) - DS3 and Beloved swept the areas I'd already cleared and left the sweepings by the back door before mopping. The pile of laundry I took out of the washing machine before leaving on Thursday in the hope that someone would spread it out to dry was still on the bag for life in the front room.

I'm thinking of investing in a set of flags like the ones some pubs give you to put on your table, so they know where to bring your food order. So when they wake up there would be flags with messages - 'empty this' on the mop bucket (and the dishwasher), 'clean this' on the used mop, 'use the dustpan' by the sweeping pile by the back door.

Looking to the positives 3 loads of washing were dried in the yard (on garden chairs, on top of the bottle pile and on the water butt), lots of things were 'shuffled away' - spices and other ingredients used in cooking and not returned to the appropriate places, tins and bottle on the under stair shelves regrouped to make space for more store cupboard items, cutlery items and knives disinterred from amongst the spices, garlic cloves and other things covering the worktop, dishwasher emptied and refilled twice - although left it for DS3 to empty this time.

Pulled disintegrating pasta from the sink plughole and burnt rice from the bottom of the rice cooker, second set of table legs under the stairs (at the far end, under the tools, several bags moved into the front room to clear corners of the kitchen, phoned mum, moved all the pillows off the bed etc, etc, etc. with breaks when I ran out of breath or my knee started to grumble (will need to take care of that for the next few days). Used up cheese spread and oatcakes and wrinkly peppers, cauli, broccoli, carrots went into a gorgeous curry - more of the same for lunch today and probably tomorrow as well. Recycling and rubbish to bins (many trips but did sit in the garden for 5 minutes here and there.

Started to write some weight loss goals and incentives (use a jar to add £1 for every lb lost), tape the list of non-hungry eating reasons to the front of the fridge.

    Goals for the week:-
Complete declutter and deep clean of the kitchen
    Tape list to fridge
Use any remaining perishable items before the holiday
    Pack for holiday
File away (further reduce?) paperwork - completed the Carer's Allowance paperwork before setting off for the funeral and have brought my business accounts up to date so no outstanding items.

I am grateful for DS3 and Beloved doing some cleaning and tidying, for mostly lovely weather (sunny but with a cooling breeze, not so oppressive as it has been), for eye drops (hayfever ramping up, possibly tree pollen season to add to the flower pollen and the 'if people have to have grass, why do they have to cut it'), for lovely curry using up a rainbow of past their best veg, for rest helping my sore joints and reducing the need for pills, for surprise visitors for DS3 and Beloved.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

    Good morning!
Got very little done yesterday as I cannot drive - I think I got a piece of glass stuck in my foot a few days ago. Sadly I found this out when I had driven down the road, and walked into a shop. Ouch. drove home in agony as it is my clutch foot and I could feel it slicing in further with every gear change. Can't find the blighter. Still, it meant a very low spend in the shop.

Have to take ds2 to the dentist for a check up, if I can drive safely I will nip to the supermarket with my lovely list and my free £5 voucher.

Gratitudes: I still adore my dh, scones, that someone thought to invent the hoover, nobody complained about supper last night (miracle).

Ouch f0xh0les. Hope it works its way out soon.

We went off adventurising again today. Firstly to the hosp for a quick appt, then we met up with dh and hopped on the train to the Isle of Wight. We're here for 5 days and will see my step dd1 (dh's dd1) + gs, and my cousin. Hopefully we'll see plenty of blue sky and do plenty of out and abouting.

I lived in Gosport for a year nearly 18 years ago, Apple, one of the mums at school is posting on fakeb00k as they are at Bognor Butlins and I keep seeing the Gosport ferry, and Gunwarf Quays on the map. I liked living by the sea a lot. I only found out where Bognor was this week! It is one of those places you hear about all the time but I never realised how close I was to it, back then. Have a lovely time! I believe I have an aunt and a cousin on the Isle. Hope you don't meet them!

    NSD No 14 yesterday

Well, I attended to the big frog and that it a weight off my mind. Really should stop procrastinating and just do things when they need done.
Did a lot of cooking but was feeling really wheezy so couldn't do much more. I think I took too much of my inhaler because I felt bad all day.
Drama in the evening. The Boy splashed cooking oil on his arm and ended up in the minor injuries unit at the local hospital. Arm heavily bandaged and on strong painkillers. What a lot of damage a little hot oil can cause.
Need to try and catch up with what I didn't get done yesterday.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Morning all, it's my last day of leisure today although I have done some work at home for my PT job. Then back to my self employment role tomorrow and Thursday - all helps towards tackling my debt mountain though so needs must :(
I went to my exercise class yesterday and feel achy today in a good way!
I'm off to pay in some cheques and have a wander round the town and maybe walk by the river; will be avoiding spending money though as will take a flask and eat before I go :)
Gratitudes - a relaxing afternoon; dry weather so washing on the line; helpful workmen outside who moved barriers so DD1 could get off the drive!

    Still on NSD No 14

Posted a letter recorded delivery, bought a wedding reply and card and a light bulb. All necessary, I'm afraid.

I've managed to catch up a bit but not as much as I'd like. Himself is going out tomorrow afternoon so hope to get a lot done then.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.
