I'm sorry you are receiving this abuse as that's what it is. He is trying to make you feel small and insignificant to make himself feel good. The sooner you are out of there the better. Stay strong and focused on your goal.1

Hi Emma
Might be worth checking your credit report just in case of any "abnormal" activity.
Don't worry about his liver function etc etc etc. It is not your concern. Focus on you and getting away from this horrible situation. Things WILL be much better on the other side. I know as I have been there.

I am pleased you've been able to borrow the money to leave. I found your diary about a week ago and read it from beginning to end it was just before you found out he hadn't been paying the rent. When I came back on and read that it made my heart sink so I'm glad you've found a way to get out. Wishing you lots of happiness and peace in your new home with the children.1

I think it's great he's not going to be there. It's going to make it so much easier to get on with what you're doing. This is going to be hard but it's the first step into your new adventure. Don't worry about adding to your debt. It's for a really good reason. You'll soon be back on track with where you are with paying it off.

Hi Emma, I've been a lurker around these parts for a while (but never posted before) . I just wanted to say good luck with the move today - you're definitely doing the right thing for yourself and the kids.
Just a suggestion (feel free to ignore!) but have a think about taking photos of everywhere in the house just before you leave so you can catalogue each area as you left it. That way if ex OH does any damage after you leave, you have proof of how you left it. I don't know if it will absolve you of liability for any damage but may help.
