    Morning my beautiful diary friends,
    Hope you are well.
Builders arrived this morning to start dds room .
    Update on finances.

    £6000 in emergency fund
£12,000 (loan money) in house renovations fund
    £380 in car fund
    Life time isa £344.
    Help to save £500 + £250 bonus

    Mortgage balance £117,697.98
    Loan balance £11,869.64
    Very £990

I'm happy with that. I would of liked to of had the car fund at £400 to round it up but there literally isn't a penny spare to transfer.

Food shop today. Rest of the month will be no spend days. I have fuel in the car to last till the 1st. And we have a food shop coming today so won't need anything for the next few days.

    Regarding monthly outgoings.
    This is what I do.
Our monthly outgoings are £2000 per month.
All of July's income is put in an account for aug bills. Once it's at £2k any extra goes to savings accounts / extra debt payments.  Some months I just transfer everything and then on the last day of the month I transfer £2k to our debit account and the rest to savings. I have done this since we started our debt free journey back in 2017.
My next goal once all our debt is paid off again is too always have a minimum of £2k in our DD account. This will become sinking funds for things like school trips, clothes etc.

DD has her injections today. I'll check the medicine cabinet before OH takes her  to see if we have infant paracetamol if not we will get some just incase she's achy after.

Nothing else to report. Sticking to the plan.  Day off today so going to do some emails / phone calls ive been putting off.

    Have a lovely day everyone
Love hugs and positivity to you all

Still waiting for my refund to show in my bank account. Done a few surveys too.

Determined to buy a reliable car come next year.

Anyway all is good. No money spent.

  • Hello my beautiful diary friends,
I hope you are all well?.
Washing machine came up with an error code last night. OH looked at it today and it was a drainage issue. Which he's managed to sort out.
I had work this morning. Family have kept he house clean and tidy so I've spent the afternoon relaxing with them. Very tired and in a lot of pain today.
Pasta for dinner we have pasta sauce In the fridge that needs using up.

    No spend day today.

Got my refund in the bank so I transfer that bringing the car fund too £400 .. really chuffed as I didn't think we would be able to save anything this month after topping up the emergency fund back upto £6k . But we did. It's gave us a a good start to our little car fund.

    Have a good evening everyone
Love hugs prayers and positivity to you all

  • Good morning my beautiful diary friends,
I hope you are all well.

It's the last day of the month. We do a sero based budget and after shuffling money to savings we were left with 54p in the bills account and broke even in the spends account (fuel , food etc)

I have gone through the budget for aug and I have over budgeted so I have put the 'spare money' to the car fund. Bringing the total to £550 in the car fund. (adding money to this is become addictive) 🤣

Anyway money shuffled for August and some bonus money sent to car fund.

Off to pick up my prescription. Today will be a no spend day. We don't need anything 😉

    Have a good day everyone.

Love hugs and positivity to you all

  • Good afternoon everyone.
Partner isnt feeling and Ive hurt my ankle nothing serious but it does hurt when trying to weight bare. So a chilled day today.

Today wasnt a no spend day.
Brought bacci and some colouring pencils.
Kids are now sat at the dining table all colouring. I also sorted their colouring stuff out again so all pencils are sharpened all the pens that have dried out or ran out have been thrown away and everything is all seperated again into the right containers.

Yesterday we had a disco in the lounge and the kids loved it.

I think I may get them all too chill with their books for abit. And then do some baking with them later.

We took them for a short ride in the car earlier and played eye spy. We also saw some diggers and tractors which the little ones loved.

Anyway going to clean and tidy up abit.

    Have a good day everyone

Love hugs and positivity to you all
