Hello my beautiful diary friends,
Hope you are all well.
I'm on annual leave now for the week ☺️
Plan to give the house a deep clean and reorganize. Get everything ready for school.
Went to get my prescription this morning.
Currently binge watching some of my favourite sit coms.
Need to organise for the builder to come and fix the roof and get the fire sorted then I know how much money we will have left for aa few other jobs around the house.
I've caved and brought a food steamer (to try and make dinner times easier, esp when they go back to school) and a waffle maker. We buy packs of waffles every week so in the long run this will save us money. I plan to make a large batch so they can be popped in to the toaster on school morning.
Going to make some pancakes today too.
It's finally not raining so I think we will go fro a walk in the woods later with the kids
Have a lovely day everyone
Love hugs and positivity to you all

Good morning everyone
I hope you are all well.
No spend day today
Used the food steamer yesterday it did make dinner time much easier, because we didn't have to keep an eye on the saucepans boiling over.
We also made waffles and they were lovely. So overall I'm very happy with my purchases.
Kids are chilling on their video games.
First load of laundry in the dryer and second load is on in the washing machine.
House is reasonably tidy. We are going to give it a good blitz today.
I can't believe the kids go back to school on Thursday. These last few weeks have flown by.
I have a few things on my to do list I need to do before I go back to work.
I'm experimenting with a better routine at the moment as I feel I don't use my time very effectively.
I've also removed social media off my phone again. I'm going though a bit of a low patch and finding work rather stressful at the moment. Getting rid of social media allows me to concentrate on what's important to me, and prevents negative distractions.
I'll be paying off most of my very account in September..
I'm definitely in a different place in my life than I was when I started a diary on this forum 3 years ago. For the most part for the better. But one thing I have realised is mentally I struggle with a work environment. I stress about work in my head when I'm at home. I stress about things I shouldn't let worry me. And I stress about things like .. are people talking about me behind my back and listening to others talk badly about others behind their back. It's getting me very anxious. Making me feel very drained and exhausted and rather upset. But I plan to go back to work with a new mindset and generally just separate myself from it all. Do my job and go home. I also plan to buy a little note pad so I can write things down that way I know things are done and I won't go home worrying about it.
So fingers crossed things will be better for me when I return after my annual leave.
Have a good day everyone. Today I'm focusing on house work and getting some DIY jobs done

Subject of the note pad.
We are allowed to keep our phones on us at work. And I have a Google app that saves everything and backs it up and allows you too cross things off but still saves it crossed off. So I'll be using that - save buying a note pad.
One thing I have noticed regarding the home environment and Ds2 with additional needs. Since we have moved and we have moved his behaviour has very much improved in Alot of ways. Home life is less stressful and I'm very greatful for thatJune 17 £16,000 debt ~ nov 18 DEBT FREE •June 21 £16,308 debt / july 22 debt free •Original mortgage free date 01/06/2059 current mortgage free date 01/05/20461 -
Have you considered getting some support with your mental health? Just some of the feelings you describe sound really familiar from my OH and it made such a difference once she could access some help as it gave her some techniques to use when things became stressful or she encountered particular trigger situations, plus her IPT therapist was brilliant (although there were only a limited number of sessions available)Choose kind3

Thankyou for stopping by hazelnutty.
To be honest I haven't. I have bipolar anyway. And suffered with anxiety many years ago which was very much gone until april/may this year.i will see what im like when I go back with new mindset and strategy plan and if no better I'll speak to my GP for some extra support / counciling.
Ideally I would love to work for myself from home... That's the dream anyway
I do like being around others and I like to chat to others etc. But also being around people does bring huge anxiety. I haven't been there long. I'm sure things will get better over time 🤞
I will definitely consider what you said if I still feel the same when I go back xxJune 17 £16,000 debt ~ nov 18 DEBT FREE •June 21 £16,308 debt / july 22 debt free •Original mortgage free date 01/06/2059 current mortgage free date 01/05/20462 -
Morning my beautiful diary friends, I hope you are all well.
I woke up feeling a little better this morning.
I'm going to blitz the house properly today after keep putting it off.
Might even go for a walk later, we will see. I'm going to try and finish the stairs by the end of as September. And make phone calls tomorrow to get the jobs I need doing in the house sorted that we can't do and make a start on the stuff we can do. Hopefully a skip run too. By the end of the week I want the house back to perfect.
Everything is sorted for school it just needs to be brought down stairs.
Today I'm going to start downstairs and work my way up.
I'm going to write a list now and then get cracking.
Have a good day everyone.

I've wrote a very long list.
I've got 9 hours till the little ones bedtime routine. I'll set a timer and see how much I can get done and I'll do the rest tomorrow that will give me Wednesday free to do something nice with the kids before they go back to school.
3 2 1 go ...
I'll report back later . If this helps productivity (which it use to do) this is what I will do going forward)
