Can I ask if you are in receipt of DLA
Also if you are unable to work you might be able to claim ESA and be put in the support group.
Please try to keep your chin up.

Deffo go and get some aids that is what they are there for to keep you able
to do things for yourself! It sounds like you definitely need a stairlift so you can get up and down. Are you already under Occupational therapy for your mobility issues? If not get the gp to send a referral.

Mrs money penny - I've come to realise money isn't important, as long as we can get by thats all that matters my health must come first for my sake and my kids 

Kelpie35 - im in receipt  of pip with an ongoing award to be reviewed at the earliest of 2023 ? 
I'm going to see if I can get some advice on what we can apply for in the mean time I have a meeting with my manager on Saturday to put a plan in place and see if anything can be done at work to help. 

FTB dreaming.. I'm going to speak to a different  gp on Tuesday (the one I saw originally in june/July) and ask for an ocupational therapist referral, I'm currently sliding down the stairs 🤣 the carpet is going to love me 🤣 but getting up is much much harder.  We are quite fortunate that the people before had a downstairs  toilet put in and we do have a separate walk in shower so I've put a chair in there. 

I'll get there, eventually  I just need to take it a day at a time for now. 

Unfortunately  I was given more sad news tonight that my nana  is quite unwell. Due to covid  restrictions  I can't visit which Is heartbreaking. 

Off to bed now  good night everyone

No spend day today. Which is good. 

More sad news my partners dad has been diagnosed with cancer. The plan is too prolong his life as its not cure able. He's such an amazing  guy. The most selfless, non judgemental and supportive person I've ever met.  We are obviously  devastated. 

Regards my health. I'm going to speak to gp  next week to see what they can do ie pain relief , ot referral and just generally try and make things less of a struggle. 

Financially we are on track which is good

So sorry to hear about your partners Dad. It’s a dreadful illness lost both my parents from cancer and I was diagnosed the Dad after Mum died. Thankfully it hasn’t returned. Still on medication. It makes you realise even more that we have to make the most of the time we have. Take care x

Hello my beautiful diary friends, 
I hope you are all well.

I've been signed off work. I think its for 2 weeks and then I'll be reviewed. I'm waiting to receive the sick note via email. 

Basically last night I was in so much pain i phoned 111 for advice. They sent an ambulance  and I was taken to hospital. I've been prescribed morphine for the pain and baclophen (sp) starting physio next week and if I'm no better in two weeks I'll be referred to neurologist and occupational therapy. 

Basically  they think what has happened is my cerebal palsy has caused severe pain and the pain has caused my legs to become weak which is why I can't walk and why I'm unable to stand (without support) the last few days have just been a dramatic decline. But I'm hoping  over the next few weeks ill get my strength back. 

Financially not alot  to report only spend was our online food shop that came yesterday..

Hi my beautiful diary friends 

I hope you are all well. 
Sorry I haven't posted. I've been in hospital. I was there a week. Due to my leg pain and lack of mobility. Came home yesterday they haven't found the cause. I did have a mri on my spine.
Been reffered to the neurologist. Neuro physio and will hopefully get an ot referral on Friday when I speak to my gp. Been signed off for another 2 weeks. On a lot of pain medication.
Ordered a food shop which was delivered yesterday but other than food no other spends. We now need to make sure my wheelchair fits in whichever car we choose to buy next year unless I make massive improvements..

I'm very tired. And my pain isn't completely gone. Partner helped me shower today and wash my hair.. I tried to wash it in the shower at hospital but completely failed  😞  .. it was matted and knotty but I think oh has sorted it for me bless him.. 

Anyway I'm going to get some rest .. nothing really to report to be honest as not alot has happened due to being in hospital..
