  • @Moneyfordreams... Thankyou. Ah that's good. I'll have a look .. does it have 4 or 5 seats ? .. i looked at a few that were 4 seats but then I decided  I just want to have one car so I need 5 seats really. As we have 3 kids. Otherwise I'd of gone for something much smaller as they tend to be cheap to run

    Got the job !
And got the higher contract of hours too  :)

As part of it all also be doing senior shifts which will be at a higher pay ... So the job that was perfect already and two added bonuses !

I'm so happy and also relieved.... I'm also never applying for another job again  :pensive:
Being agency is great but not knowing how much work I'll have all the time was causing huge anxiety ... (I always got enough work in the end)
Also the higher contract means even on my lower pay I'll earn £3k extra a year
Now to go and adjust the budget to allow for more savings  :D

    Thankyou 😘

Oh also today has been another no spend day making it the 3rd in a row. And we shouldn't need anything until the food shop comes on Wednesday  :)

Money wise I've worked out my pay for the coming weeks for my current job. And we will have enough to see us through till my first pay of my new job. So no savings will be touched.

Great news!  So pleased for you.
    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy

    Hello my beautiful diary friends,

    I hope everyone is well

Today was another no spend day.

Ive adjusted the budget for the rest of the year starting next month.

I've decided to keep a smaller amount in savings. Mainly due to the fact we are paying so much interest on the mortgage ... (Around £11/£13 a day) :scream:

    So ... I whacked a £2085.46p payment to the mortgage ...

Will keep the savings at £6k for now.

From now .. it's no spend and aggressively overpay this mortgage

Have a good evening everyone x
