Happy New Year! Wish I had thought to change the stocking tradition - and bought a much smaller one! I made the mistake of giving them sacks!!! Even now with DD feel stuck!

  • Hi everyone, i didnt realise it had been so long since I last posted.
    Here's a quick update.

Savings should be at £8000 by the end of the month

Mortgage overpayments total stands at £1500

I left my job that was costing me a fortune in petrol to commute. I'm now full time agency worker. But I'm looking for a job closer to home.

I've spent alot of money on toys and games for the kids since lockdown . I've now stopped this they have enough to keep them busy

2 of the rooms in the house have been decorated.

Ive been decluttering the house room by room ... I need to hire a skip soon ♥️

All the kids are coping really well. Re lockdown.

I'm still working but not many hours next month at the moment. Enough to cover bills but might not be able to add to the savings.

We have been doing one weekly food shop online since lockdown which I think has saved us money even though we are currently spending more in one go than we normally would... This is one change I will be keeping after lockdown.

I'm still hoping to have £12000 in savings by December

    Hope everyone is well.

As of a few days ago I have started a no spend / essential spends only again after falling off the bandwagon earlier this year.

Love , happiness, positivity and hugs to you all

    Hello momof3.12kindebt
I have just found your diary and I just had to follow your diary. I believe your story will be an encouragement to many young people especially girls who have made a few wrong turns somewhere in their life. It shows that you and your partner are focused and will achieve your goals. I hope I will be able to be as focused as you and will also be working on clearing my mortgage too.
    Happy days

    Hello my beautiful diary friends,
I hope you are all well.

    Thankyou Tropically.
I have been very lucky in the last few years. And I'm very greatful for it all. I have good and bad days with my cerebral palsy but it will always be that way. I'm on a range on different painkillers, but I manage to run a home. Raise my babies and keep down a job, it's all what keeps me going during the tough times I just have to be kind to myself and take a rest when I need it, if I push myself I'll spend months recovering from it. For the most part i do quite well , I just take each day as it comes. My mental health (bipolar) has been pretty much stable for over two years now. My medication works and I just have to make sure I get enough sleep each night. Alot of the time that will mean me going to bed as soon as the kids are in bed but its just became routine now son not really an issue anymore . And I don't allow things to stress me out like I use to. Because stress is a major trigger for me. And I'm determined to not get poorly.

It's my birthday today :) 27 ! I feel so much older saying 27 than when I was 26 :rotfl:

We packed a picnic and went to the beach. Didn't spend any money there. :money: which was fab.

£18 spent in Tesco on essentials and some red bull for work tomorrow (just incase)
£52.01 on fuel :o first time I've gone over by a penny in a while :rotfl:

Overall a lovely day. (It didn't rain and wasn't rediculously hot.)
Memories made. So happy mummy and daddy and the kids had a blast !
It's a beautiful beach that I have never took the kids too but it's now one of our nearest (1 hour drive) will definitely be going there alot more in the future and ultra bonus there's no arcades for the kids to beg to spend money at :D :money:

We are all off for showers now, and then we are going to snuggle up and Watch a film together.
Just tracking your diary. Well done again being so exemplary and dealing with cerebral palsy and bipolar. I just wish you good health.
