Hi Narola1976 and welcome
There's two weeks left to this challenge so you can either set a mini target just let me know what it is or If you need to think about it you can just post and I'll add you to qtr 4 just post a target when we start or I'll forget.
As you can see we're a lovely supportive group on here
Nothing wrong with fish finger and salad, I agree that it's often cheaper to eat the none 'healthy' food than the healthy stuff. Eating healthy on a budget can be a challenge sometimes.

Good luck nar0la1976 and welcome.
I had a huge and totally unexpected amount of aggressiin from one of my neighbours and her family yesterday, so I'm staying away for a few days til it's safer. Don't know how to resolve it nd n0t thinking clearly yet. There are times when logic is no use and I suddenly felt extremely vulnerable as a woman with he@lth problems who lives on my own. Fight or flight I suppose.
On the plus side I now have no @ppetite whatsoever. Yesterday I ate mushrooms and 1.5 slice bread. Half b@g crisps. Apple. Today I will try and be more sensible. I don't want to get ill.
My tchscreen is jiggered. Sorry to be a moaner.A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks0 -
Afternoon All
Hello & welcome Narola1976 - I'm a sucker for a fishfinger myself
What a lovely sunny autumn day and I cba doing anything, I'm at that stage where I have so many things started or on my "To Do" list that I spend too much time procrastinating and get nothing done :rotfl:
Tighteningthebelt, I can totally empathise with your situation all I would say is try and remain calm and strong, avoid them when you can there is nothing to be gained by getting into a shouting match or a "tit4tat" situation. I've experienced it with the young couple next door and when the extended family are all around they try and intimidate; they are oh so big and bold when in a group but not so much when on his or her own.
Food-wise today =
B - toast, spreading cheese, cucumber & tomato
L - egg salad, bag of baked crisps
D - lamb koftas, tzatziki, flat bread, saladJan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £65.010 -
Thanks need2b.
I've spent most of the day in a big country park in the sunshine, so I'm a bit clearer now. I'm staying away a bit longer to let everything calm down. I've concluded I have lots of options so I won't behave like someone with none! That's enough for now.
Down to business...
B / L the cheese Scone!
S about 10 pecans and small red wine (needs must!)
T lamb curry and rice. Half mini naan. Jelly n yogurt
S cereal and apple
Onwards and onwardsA bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it

Hope things get sorted out soon tighteningthebelt sounds like they're bullies, just remember if you feel threatened in your own home you can call for help and write down any instances with times etc :grouphug:
Need2bthrifty I understand what you mean about the todo list I rewrote mine this week I'm also an expert on procrastinating  but made a effort to tick off a couple of small ones today so at least it looks better
A work colleague was talking about her diet today, it's one of these 'quick' fixes - day 1 just fruit, day 2 just vegetables, day 3 fruit and veg, day 4 just bananas and milk, day 5 just tomatoes which is when I wished her luck and left. The promise is lose 7 kgs in two weeks I'm sure it would come back on a lot quicker as soon as you go back to anything remotely 'normal' I admired her staying power and she said if someone made her a biryani all bets are off
B - last of my vegetable frittata
L - fig, goat cheese, Parma ham salad. Strawberries and blueberries
D - lunch was late so I haven't eaten yet so will have either a omelette or scrambled eggs
S - 3 cheese oat cakes, greengages cereal barLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
ONE AND A HALF POUNDS OFF today. :j which is a bit of a miracle because i have got some sort of throat lurgy so "needed" gallons of ice cream.
(I am sure I could have survived nicely on vegetable soup too, If only I had willpower)
Todays food.
Macaroni cheese
Three oversized cornets. I bet I could go on "Britain's got talent" displaying my skill for getting half the tub to stick on top of the cone.

B - Toast
L - Fish fingers and salad (weird I know, but must use what I have)
D - Pork stir fry
S - Blueberry muffins (homemade as have all the ingredients)
At least 1L water, not as much as I should drink, but its a start.
wish me luck
welcome.
obviously check with your doctor, but maybe you could fit in wholewheat pasta or potatoes with the skin on if you mix them with salad or vegetables?tighteningthebelt wrote: »Good luck nar0la1976 and welcome.

You cant do anything to change their behaviour though, only your own, so do try to stick your nose in the air and rise above it.0 -
Hi
Thanks to all of you for being so kind.
Today I'm going out for tea with the friends I was supposed to be cooking for.
That will involve calories. I'm going to have breakfast late then enjoy what I have at the restaurant. I might peruse the menu later and pre decide.
bramblng :rotfl: for the work colleagues diet - please do let us know how she gets on in case we're missing a trick. :rotfl:A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it

Morning All,
Well done honeythewitch, not far now to reach your target.
Brambling - work colleague's diet sounds a bit extreme, although I recall doing a rapid loss diet back in the 80's which involved copious amounts of citrus fruit and zero carbs, I did lose weight and probably most of the enamel off my teeth :rotfl: :rotfl:
Feeling a bit more energetic today, household chores are done, I need to nip out to the supermarket then I'll get some gardening done or at least try and get the weeds under control.
B - hard boiled egg, blob of mayo, toast & tomato
L - tuna salad wrap, banana
D - 2 sausages, mushroom & kale stirfry, maybe some sweet potato wedges depends how hungry I feelJan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £65.010
