S - apple (actually a victory, for me to go hungry into a supermarket and come out with an apple)
:T:T:T That's a great victory. I always end up buying vast quantities of junk if I'm hungry when I go shopping
I hope you enjoyed the poetry thing
Izadora, glad to hear your husband is going to try as well, it makes it so much easier to plan and shop when you are likely to be eating the same thing.

There's not much chance of us eating the same things (Him - total carnivore, dislikes most veg, can give or take cakes/biscuits/chocolate. Me - vegetarian, love most veg but also have a major weakness for all kinds of sweet treats and snacks) but it helps to know that I'm not the only one who's hungry :D
Two lotus biscoff biscuits with biscoff from the jar spread on them. (food of the Gods :D).

I love biscoff biscuits but can very rarely limit myself to two so hate to think how dangerous I'd be if I had the spread too :o

I'm trying very hard not to use the 'D' word at the moment and am focusing on trying to eat healthily instead. I'm only on day 3 but so far so good, I just need to try to stick to it this time.

    Evening all. :)

STS for me, not great for two weeks but I think I have clawed back some of what would have been a gain if I had weight last week. I'm not going to make my target again which is annoying as I was almost there, I blame my holiday I should have done less eating and more walking  I just need to get my head back in the correct space again, this weather will soon mean soup for lunches which should help

    B - fruit and yogurt
L - seafood stick and egg salad
D - pasta with tomato and veg sauce with a sprinkle of cheese
    S - biscuit, nectarine, 2 figs

Keep up the good work guys :)

Brambling ah, that's a shame, at least it's not a gain though. The diet you post always looks really sensible so I'd blame the holiday too. I went away to Ecuador on Google maps this year. Very economical way to travel. :money: :rotfl:

Izadora funny about you and Mr being hungry together!! Like your style. The poetry was good, very well put together, with pictures and a quiet soundtrack behind the readings. It was a group of local-ish poets. It's a week long festival in various venues locally, so there's more... [STRIKE]tomorrow night is a performance that is being BSL signed which will be beautiful[/STRIKE] (just this minute cancelled) and then there's another performance Friday and a workshop Saturday. Plenty worse things to do with your time anyway, like cheese for instance, or iced buns. :)

    Today -
B - small cereal with half a banana
L - veg soup and 1.5 toast sprinkle of cheese (veg soup complete, thankfully!)
    S - apple
T - veg curry and rice, few mange tous, jelly, small glass red wine (veg curry complete too, thankfully!!)
S - small cereal with the other half of the banana

So much for the 16:8 (for today anyway) more like a 12:12.

I'm supposed to weigh in tomorrow, but I'm not at home with my own scales, so think it will be Saturday realistically.
A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks

Biscoff is one of those things I would have been far better not knowing about.
Someone I spoke to recently was surprised that I had never had a krispy creme doughnut, and said I really must try one, because they are really nice and addictive.
I thought no, actually it is probably best that I never ever have one in the first place. :D

You have done really well, Brambling. six and half pounds in such a short time is a good loss, and especially with a holiday thrown in as well! :)

I have done it. Just weighed in and lost ONE AND A HALF POUNDS!!! so I have made the target. :)

:T:T:T:j:j:j:j Well done Honey that's a stone :) I agree about the biscoff and krispy crèmes, never tried them and better off not doing so, I eat enough things I shouldn't without adding these to the mix

I'm off out tonight to see the National Theatre screening of 1 Man 2 Guvnors which they are reshowing as part of their 10 year anniversary, it had good reviews at the time so it should be good and then as we go into October I seem to have rather a lot booked at the local arts centre :D should hopefully keep me away from eating in the evenings as I tend not to take anything with me to eat just some water

B - Greek FF Yoghurt, banana, figs and walnuts
L - Fig and goat cheese salad (yellow sticker figs :))
D - not sure yet but seeing as I will have less than a hour before going out and forgot to take out a HM ready meal from the freezer it will be quick and easy maybe beans on toast
S - fibre one popcorn bar, grapes, pack of baked crisps

Yes please. I may have failed dismally at this one but I've still found it really helpful.

Honey, well done on reaching your target :T:T:T

Krispy Kreme - definitely avoid them. I'm not a massive doughnut fan but I find them ridiculously addictive. I probabaly shouldn't mention the fact that they do a Biscoff flavoured one...
  • brambling yes please. I know I was a bit late on board to be thinking about targets but its helped me no end listing my meals. Thank you.
