Well done Brambling, sorry you're not feeling well though. I hope you managed a good night's sleep once your neighbour quietened down.
I managed a nice walk out a lunchtime yesterday despite getting a little wet.
Did have a few treats in the form of biscuits and crisps but as I gave blood, I'll let myself off for the day!0 -
Well after signing up i lost, forgot to post, went on holiday, put it all back on and am now back on track. So posting overall since setting target 3.5 pounds loss (that was Monday)

All the credit for keeping the list up to date goes to Brambling :T - I'm struggling too, like others I've had the cold that seems to be doing the rounds and as the old saying goes I've been feeding a coldJan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £103.530 -
I hope everyone who has this dreadful cold everyone seems to be getting feels better soon. It definitely makes it harder to diet when you are feeling rough.

I was working from home yesterday and spent most of the day picking at food. What wasn't a great day food wise certainly didn't end any better in the evening as we succumbed to cheese and crackers and wine after tea!!
Today back at work has been better. Despite the awful weather (yuk!) I have been out for a walk at lunch.
Tonight might be another glass or two of wine but it will be the last until we go away in 2 weeks time as I'm back on call from Saturday. This weekend we've a christening and birthday, but as I say no drinking so should be fairly easy to stay on the straight and narrow, there may be some cake though!
Although I've only one more pound to lose to reach my target for the challenge I've secretly set myself another target and would love to have lost another 6 lbs from Monday this week to when we go away. it's an ambitious target but I'll do my best.

It seems pretty quiet on her at the moment, maybe owing to it being holiday time. I hope everyone had a great weekend.
My weigh in today, clearly shows I should have kept quiet about my hidden target and my optimism on Friday wasn't founded as 1lb gain for me this week.
Not really unexpected given the amount of cake and treats I've had over the weekend at the Christening and birthday dos.
Never mind, it's the start of another week and back to cleaner living and hoping to get a fair bit of exercise in this week too so fingers crossed for losses over the next 2 weeks before I go on my holidays.

I think I will be joining you in gaining.I have spent the weekend sitting on a beach eating chocolate cake and ice cream, and there is no way Ryvita and exercise is going to fix that by Friday!
Today I have had oatbran/yogurt/peanut butter "biscuits" for breakfast , and tonight will be rose veal liver, mash, broccoli, carrots sprouts and gravy. (fruit inbetween)
I have never made the rose veal liver before. I assume it is cooked in the usual way?0 -

Hi guys
Sorry for being MIA I thought I was coming down with a chest infection but I think I've avoided that but spent most of the weekend in bed and still sound like I'm on 60 a day. One advantage has been a loss of appetite although I fear any weight lost benefits will disappear once I start eating properly again
Honey I would say to cook veal liver the same as lamb liver after all it's only calf liver by another name. Just keep it quick. It reminds me I have some lamb liver in my freezer once I feel more like cooking

Well I had an awful day yesterday in terms of will power and food. I well and truly lost control and ate everything in sight and more, so annoyed with myself, especially as I've woken up this morning feeling like I've a cold coming.
I will however definitely not be feeding this cold!! I'm currently on hot water with fresh lemon and it's lovely. I feel OK at the moment, so I'll be off out for a run at lunch and eating plenty of fruit throughout the day and salad for tea.0
