    Thanks,

Trust me I really don’t want to give up but I just cannot find the time to fight to the bitter end even though I know the odds are with me.
There is so much to read and I have just go into a thread direct from the newbies and after a few pages coupon mad said to stop as this thread was out of date.

It was in the below thread which I got to via a link from the newbies thread.

Parking - Letter Before County Court Claim (LBCCC) - Fight back! Guidance Thread

    It reads

4 Make a 'without prejudice offer' - see post 12 for more info
Please note: This thread is about helping you to fight back and NOT give into their demands for money. But some readers may wish to make a payment to get the monkey off their back for personal reasons and want to do that in the most cost effective way possible. Others may wish to include a 'WoP' letter as part of their over-all strategy. Note a 'WoP' letter is NOT an admittance of liability and cannot be produced to the court when considering the case. It CAN be produced to the court on the issue of costs and this can work for or against you. So please, if you wish to make use of this, DO NOT offer them £1 or make a silly offer. DO make a sensible offer - eg one which can be shown to be a calculation of genuine loss, or one that reflects an earlier lower demand from the PPC.

Unfortunately, that thread you mention, by zzzLazyDaisy, was written six years ago.

    Things have moved on.

Coupon-mad has plans to remove that link from post #4 of the NEWBIES thread as the information it contains is no longer appropriate.

You are best advised to disregard that ancient thread.

    Thanks KeithP,

I really am stuck on which way to go now. I have received the letter as per my thread name, sent an SAR to the PPC, I am guessing I now need to wait for a reply and then go from there?
Don’t get me wrong I really don’t want to pay them and I know they prey on the feeling I have right now to get people to pay.

If you have used your real name as your forum name then get MSE to change it to something anonymous

The PPCS monitor here and can use posts in your thread against you in Court

You have done all you need to do at this stage.

You now need to wait patiently for a County Court Claim Form to drop through your letter-box.

It is important to realise that you may never see a Claim Form. Not all PPCs progress all incidents through the courts. They are after the easy pickings.

    Stay strong.

Post again on this thread if ever you do get a Claim Form.

This really is a case of who blinks first. :D

    KeithP,

Will I receive a reply for the SAR I have sent?

To confirm I have not appealed to them, I did nothing when I received the NTK, and the next letter I received was the final letter before debt collection it court! At this point I search the newbies thread, found the SAR example and sent this off via email to their DPO email address within the 14 days from receiving the final letter.
Are there any steps that I have missed?

Surely you are not expecting us to guess the answer to that question?
