    Pretty sure you need to be charged the fee first, then the rewards pay out....

    Monthly fee deducted now, and reward paid. But only £7, not £14, even though the switch completed in mid July.

    They usually pay the second £7 mid month .

    My first £7 reward of a 2nd switch arrived today too. They took their time this month …. not that unusual when close to a weekend!

    I will be looking from the week beginning the 19th to see if the 2nd reward comes through (this is when the 2nd reward used to arrive when I had the double reward for my 1st switch) … hopefully I won't need to prompt them.

    Last year the 1st Double Reward was paid on the 28th June (switches in May for customer's already holding the Blue Reward) and thereafter around the 18th.

    Mine paid on 4th and 15th of this month. I am so pleased that the knowledgable folk on MSe know more than the Barclays staff who told me quite firmly that it wouldn't work. I also switched my now redundant Tesco account with no DDs on it.

    Thanks everyone, nothing better than free money and it replaces the Tesco interest nicely. My switch completed on 30th July.
