That's correct, you can get £168 in the first 12 months. You pay a total of £48 in fees over that period. So you can make net £120 over the first 12 months, provided you meet the conditions of the offer.

Correct again. Existing customers can switch using the Barclays app, or by making an appointment in Branch, as it says on the Barclays website.

The offer ends 30 November 2019, so if you want to go for it, use your time wisely.

    Thanks for your clarify.

Is there any steps like I need to fully switch my old account to Barclays using apss first, then ony join Blue Reward (pay £4 montly fees), and then setup 2 DD?

Or can I setup 2 DD, join Blye Rewards and then lastly switch old account?

For the purpose of getting double award of £168 in one year, pay £48, net is £120.

    You can do either

    Thanks, read the website again.

I think is safer to fully complete switch, then only apply Blue Reward, as they will be £4 fees.

Hi, does anyone know if you can benefit from this offer if you're an existing Barclays customer with blue rewards and have benefited from a similar double/triple rewards offer in the past? I'm planning to close my Nationwide FlexDirect account in October, when the 5% interest rate ends, and it would be good if I could fully switch it to Barclays and benefit from the multiple rewards offer. Thanks.

I just got my 2nd £7 reward this month :j

Yes, fiat lux, that is just what I did (but with a spare Tesco CA) … so yes, you can apply to switch for the 2nd time as an existing customer, who has already received double rewards for the 1st switch. I had to do very little work other than to pop into the local branch (appointment necessary) to do the switch paperwork .. no sales pitch, no need to alter anything online as Blue Rewards were already switched on.

I didn't even have to have any DD's switched with the Tesco CA as some DD's were already set up and active in the Barclay's CA from the 1st switch .. so everything just continued as it was in previous months. I would presumably have just kept getting single rewards if I had not done the 2nd switch, but the 2nd £7 this month (i.e. the Double) arrived today. All good!

Thanks, that's great to hear! I set up a calendar reminder to make sure I do the switch in October when the Nationwide FlexDirect promo 5% ends.

Should go smoothly … just check with the local branch as to whether they want an appointment set up to do it. As an existing customer, my branch were not even interested in ID (although I did take some), they just wanted my Barclay CA debit card and details of the bank account I was switching … very easy. It would do no harm for you to ask if your branch had any particular requirements.
