    Hi all.

Sorry, a bit late to the party. Thanks Chris for the new thread. Welcome newbies and returners.

    Today's menu
    B Fruit and yoghurt
L Ham salad sandwich, bag of lentil curl crisps, orange
D Steak with SW chips, roast veg (onions, peppers, large mushrooms, tomatoes) and a little peppercorn sauce from granules. Don't think I'll have this again as it was incredibly salty and not worth the syns. (2)

Does anyone know where I might buy lower fat lamb mince?? I know lamb is generally a more fatty meat but I want to have a go at the kebab from the PON book but don't fancy it with beef.

I usually use lamb leg steaks and mince myself as that is pretty lean, I don't bother synning it, but if I wasn't a target member I probably would syn it as a few syns.

Oooooh like the look of that, another one to go on the list of recipes to make ;). Got my Skinny Syrups from Amazon the other day, will improvise and use one of those. Don’t think I have wheat bran in the cupboard, will have to check. Is it that really light flaky stuff?

    Poundsinbucks x :)

Skinny syrups are dear on amazon!
Yes i got it from Holland & Barrett 750g £1.29, but they are bogohp but didn't know if i would like i so just got the one!
I used skinny syrup in it, use what ever flavour you want, i just used toffee cause that's what i fancied:rotfl:
TBH i was just going to use bran, but i was a bit heavy handed with the yog and it was sloppy:o so thought i would add oats too:rotfl:

    Denise what a long day!!

This time next week , will be surprised if i am sitting here as it's op day:eek:

    flapjack-001.jpg
    60g oats
    60g wheat bran
    2 eggs
    toffee skinny syrup
    ginger
    dollop fat free greek yoghurt

That looks good Bubbs. Did it taste like flapjack or just look like it.

Chrisv - this might be worth adding to the recipe list!

I don't think it did really as flapjack is quite chewy , but we like it, ony 2 bits left but i hadn't had my b, so i have had 2/3 or it today now as we have both had 2 bits.
DH came in from work, saw it on the side had a prod, picked a piece up and ate it 5 mins before his tea:rotfl::rotfl: but he is working 11 hr days this week:eek:

Bubbs - Do you think it would work with all oats as I don't have wheat bran and don't really want to buy any!

I think Maman is probably due back today or tomorrow as she went 2 weeks ago today - Assuming you went for 2 weeks and not longer!

Bubbs where do you get your Skinny Syrups, is it TKMaxx? I don’t have one near me, plus ended up with quite a bit of Amazon credit thanks to the Santander referrals. Used quite a bit to replace microwave last week, as old one started playing up. Good timing ;-)

ETA I got a pack of 3 bottles for £10.68, thought that was a good price?
