I usually use lamb leg steaks and mince myself as that is pretty lean, I don't bother synning it, but if I wasn't a target member I probably would syn it as a few syns.

Thanks Denise, didn't think of doing this! I'll report back...

I make the SW kebab quite regularly and use half and half 5% beef mince and 5% pork mince. I always add more spices than the recipes though to get more flavour ;).

    Poundsinbucks x :)

Didn't think of that either!! That'll probably hold together better than all low fat beef.

Hello, a happy - 2 1/2 lbs for me please. I am now back to the weight I was before my hip operation, in metric, down from the 90s to the 80s at 89.3 Kg.

My next hoped loss goes imperial again, hoping for 2 lbs next week to go from the 14 zone into the 13 (I am still 14 st 1 and looking to go to 13.13 next weeks, crossing fingers).

No plan today, prob baked oats for breakfast, double mozzarella salad and fruit for lunch, haven't thought far enough to dinner.

    Have a good day all.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Well done Caterina, a great loss.

Forgot it was Diamond Target member competition and taster this morning so didn't take anything - that's the first time since I started way back in 2010! I actually made it to my own group just in time to weigh so no hanging around at all today! Was also nominated but didn't win The Diamond Target member competition.

I lost 1lb this week which I'm pleased about after eating junk at the hospital yesterday (giant iced Chelsea bun!). Didn't eat much of the tasters because I'd had a bacon & mushroom omelette for breakfast thinking I wasn't going to get anything to eat until after 11.30 WI. Normally I'd just have some fruit & quark, with more fruit at group.

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon & mushroom omelette. Tasters - strawberries, mini meringue 1
L - jacket potato, cottage cheese, salad - mixed leaves, cucumber, tomato, spring onion, balsamic to dress it
D - squash, sweet potato & lentil curry, rice

    HEA - milk
    HEB - none planned
    Syns - mini meringue 1; 50 ml coconut milk 2.5; mini "Magnum" type lolly 7.5 = 11

Will opening the wine until tomorrow night!

Bubbs where do you get your Skinny Syrups, is it TKMaxx? I don’t have one near me, plus ended up with quite a bit of Amazon credit thanks to the Santander referrals. Used quite a bit to replace microwave last week, as old one started playing up. Good timing ;-)

    Poundsinbucks x

ETA I got a pack of 3 bottles for £10.68, thought that was a good price?
Txmax or homesense, was they 1 ltr bottles? as when i looked they were about £9 each!

    Evening All

    Loss of -2 1/2lb

No work today so just caught up on a bit of housework, then popped to the post office quickly, was lovely out, 2 loads of washing out on the line and picked last of my cherries.

B fruit some left over coronation chicken (3?)
L wml pitta (hexb) chicken slices and salad, fruit
D ham and broccoli pasta bake, added some sweet corn for colour and served with salad.
Real thirsty now so might have a fab lolly in a mo (4.5 )
Now that I'm in the next stone bracket I'm down to 15 syns a day instead of 20 so I'm trying to be extra carefully!
