    Hi all.

Sorry, a bit late to the party. Thanks Chris for the new thread. Welcome newbies and returners.

    Today's menu
    B Fruit and yoghurt
L Ham salad sandwich, bag of lentil curl crisps, orange
D Steak with SW chips, roast veg (onions, peppers, large mushrooms, tomatoes) and a little peppercorn sauce from granules. Don't think I'll have this again as it was incredibly salty and not worth the syns. (2)

Does anyone know where I might buy lower fat lamb mince?? I know lamb is generally a more fatty meat but I want to have a go at the kebab from the PON book but don't fancy it with beef.

I don't think you can buy low fat lamb mince:(

Denise, i hope you got on ok today

Tea, pilchard salad, but made a misake and didnt realise until i opened them, they were in brine not tom sauce:(

  • sorry I'm late, I'm reporting a half a pound loss on Monday. I'm getting back into this slowly, but cravings galore at the moment as I'm a big stress eater and really stressed. I'm really trying to protect my weight loss at the moment I really want to get to my 10.5st target and I'm sat at 10st 12lbs currently.

Bubbs love the flap jack idea, about how long to bake.
Guess you could add a bit of grated apple few raisins.

Loss of 2 and 1/2 lb today

I make the SW kebab quite regularly and use half and half 5% beef mince and 5% pork mince. I always add more spices than the recipes though to get more flavour ;).

Finally got home from the hospital just after 830pm having left home at 7am! So much hanging around.

Exactly the same treatment as last week but didn't get started until 4pm so 8 hours hanging around before it started. Hopefully next week will be the last week as long as my blood test results are OK.

Assuming they are then I shouldn't need any more treatment but will need to be referred by my GP to an enchronologist (sp?).

Good job I hadn't planned many Syns today as I ended up needing something sweet and DH went to the cafe and came back with a huge iced Chelsea bun type thing! No idea how many syns but had plenty to spare as not have a huge number all the week, apart from one day at the weekend but then I only had a couple the other day.

Have to go and collect our motorhome from the garage tomorrow morning so may not get to WI - certainly won't be able to get to my normal 9.30 group but hoping I might be able to make the 11.30 group but will have to wait and see what time we get back from the garage.

    Evening all :D
Not caught up yet but made this today, 2 hexb's, but me and DH will have half each:rotfl::rotfl:
    flapjack-001.jpg
    60g oats
    60g wheat bran
    2 eggs
    toffee skinny syrup
    ginger
    dollop fat free greek yoghurt
It's bit like aflap jack :D

Oooooh like the look of that, another one to go on the list of recipes to make ;). Got my Skinny Syrups from Amazon the other day, will improvise and use one of those. Don’t think I have wheat bran in the cupboard, will have to check. Is it that really light flaky stuff?
