    Evening guys,
Bubbs seeing your quiche has inspired me to make one tomorrow night. I got 2 boxes of happy eggs free with SW ping meals from Iceland, so now have 2 doz more eggs in addition to the 10 I already had! Can’t miss a freebie tho.

Have been ON IT today. Feeling more in control, which feels good.
    Meal plan:
    B - banana & nectarine
L - mixed leaf salad, cucumber, tomato, Korean chicken & yogurt & mint dressing (1); 0% yogurt with nectarine, mango & strawberries
    Snack - nectarine
    D - bangers & mash with beans, gravy (1)
Snack - Americano coffee with cream (2)

PIB - with regard to your consultants, I had the same with when I went to group. Our leader was big, and kept getting bigger. It was hard to take her seriously sometimes when she’d discuss how we could eat lots of speed and free food t9 be successful, and she clearly wasn’t following the plan. Each Christmas she did a huge raffle that she bought stuff for all year, and every gift was food related, and not in a good way; tins of chocolates and biscuits, sweets, etc. I never got it.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

I usually make one on a Sunday but made scotch eggs this week and hey have gone, so the good ole trusty quiche:D
Our consultant tells us each week what she loses/gains, but did you know if they are not target they have to pay the same as we do?

My consultant looks big to me too but I know she's lost loads of weight as the pictures of her when she started SW she was at least double the size! She's at the target she chose and is happy. I suppose there are some people that are happy being a bit bigger than others would be happy at.

Beanie I'm another who doesn't cook with salt, apart from potatoes as I think they need some and it's not the same adding it at the table!

Back to hospital again today and hoping against hope that I don't have to be filled with saline again!!! I'm definitely feeling less bloated now and would like to stay that way, LOL! Jumped on the scales this morning after breakfast of fruit & quark and have lost 3lb - I've never lost that amount in a week before (I know a couple of pounds of it was water but it's still a great loss!).

I made scotch eggs last night and then forgot them so they were absolutely rock solid so ended up in the bin! So annoyed with myself - I was looking forward to them for lunch today.

    Today's plan:

B - fruit & quark, splash of skinny syrup
L - ham & red onion sandwich; more fruit
D - butternut squash & sweet potato curry (from freezer) with rice (if we get home early enough) or couscous if we don't!

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - spread 3

Hope everyone is having a good week. I still haven't weighed in yet, but i've been told as a target member it will be free to re-activate so long as i'm still at target, which I am.

I am, however, having to concede that I'm finally considering an operation to remove the loose skin. For a long time, I didn't think I needed it, and I don't know, maybe it's a short term fix for limited happiness but as it stands, I think there's very little I can do :(
  • Not been looking for a few days, life has overtaken :(

Went to see 9-5 on Monday night, it is hilarious, Brian Conley is so funny in it. Highly recommend going to see it if you get the opportunity. Was slightly worried about eating that day, but think I did well, when I could have done so badly! Had fruit & yoghurt for breakfast (can't remember how many syns in Muller light now, but always think 2 so that I have myself covered, chicken, tomatoes & cucumber for lunch, then the piece de resistance for dinner! You will have spotted no HEX so far, so dinner was a wholemeal roll, "buttered" with the light laughing cow cheese, chicken & tomato. Ate that when I sat down in theatre, so couldn't be tempted to buy anything naughty! Was quite chuffed with myself.

Made a chicken curry yesterday but instead of rice, I actually washed some kale, bunged it in a pasta dish & blasted in the microwave, was surprising good & light. The curry has loads of speed in it also, all thing considered not bad. Did eat a couple of meringues as I wanted to syn, but as I had none up to then, no guilt whatsoever involved.

Will try & catch up tonight, I hate missing anything!
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Well done on getting to target and staying there. Have you seen anyone about it? If it bothers you, it's definitely worth investigating.

Someone at my group is doing this.
He has to keep the weight off for a year & then can have the op.
So go & see your GP and get referred 😊
