FYI the cereal Grape Nuts is on offer for £2 in Tesco currently (usual price £3), 40g is your HEb, and it is really nice if you do it like overnight oats. I mean layer it with yogurt and fruit the night before you want it for breakfast, it goes all cakey, yum.

Am trying the Kingsmill No Crusts bread (£1.40 Tesco) as you are allowed 3 slices, which seems more than the 2 small wholemeal ones. Again, new to me.

And I found the McLelland Seriously Spreadable Creamy Cheese Squares (not Light) for 89p in HomeBargains, box of 8. You are allowed 3 of them, have seen peeps pop them on a JP.

Still looking for a tube of Primula Light, no joy so far. Need it for a recipe plus there was a cb offer on it too. Waitrose is my next stop ;-)

According to mysupermarket they should have it in Iceland (and Asda and Morrisons). Maybe they know that it's popular with SW.

Thanks for sharing the offers. I've always maintained that SW doesn't have to be expensive and any offers or YS is the icing on the cake! Probably the wrong analogy.:o:rotfl:

How come you can’t go for a No. 2 before WI but a few hours later .... no problem!! I have therefore gained half a pound this week! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Iceland have got Primula Light on offer at £1 a tube instead of £1.50. Not sure how much Asda and Morrisons are charging.

Instead of paying the extra for the crustless bread I just cut the crusts of ordinary WM bread and weigh them to get the 60g. Certainly works out cheaper than buying the crustless! You can blitz the crusts into crumbs for whenever you need some breadcrumbs and just syn them according to weight - 10g for 1 Syn.

The the analogy Maman! Definitely not SW friendly, LOL!

Your weather is better than ours - it's still raining here. It's forecast to last all day.

    Afternoon,

have been trying to keep up with the thread, but have been so busy at work and home. This is the first time I've logged on in a couple of days. Was so grateful to have the aircon at work on Thursday and our thermometers registered 39 degrees - yoinks! I even chose to go to clubbercise that night too, because the hall has aircon. I was surprised to have as much energy as I did, considering what a rubbish night's sleep I've been having this week in the heat.

Have also gained +1lb this week. Not entirely convinced this heat hasn't got something to do with it, but anyway, it is what it is. Will aim to up my sp next week and hope it just works its way off again. Apart from last weekend's picnic I don't think I've had anything out of plan, so putting it down to just how the body can be?

Sorry your w/end got rained off Denise.

TIE your drs visit sounds very dramatic. Hope you're feeling ok now.

Well it's still warm, but cooler today, and the rain seems to have cleared away, although still very cloudy. At least we can function in this normal weather. The cat isn't eyeing up the shaver any more either - poor little kitty cat having to wear a fur coat in that ridiculous hot weather.

    Meal plan today:
    B - mango & 0% fat yogurt
    L - bacon sandwich HEB & (6)
D - chicken breast, baked potato, salad & beans. Dressing (2)
    HEA 1 - milk in tea/coffee
HEA 2 - cheese on the JP if I choose to have it
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

In from work and it's rained here nearly all day, leaking through the ceiling at work it's brought down 4 ceiling tiles. Our manager decided it was still okay to open and put in a call to premises to come down. 4 hour turn around, 7 hrs later and no one one has shown. We have also had to work in near dark as we were worried about the water in the lights in the ceiling. I'm thinking that when we go in on Monday most of the ceiling will be on the floor if this rain keeps up!

Luckily I had made dinner yesterday for today, Shepard's pie and beans, counting it as 6 as I added a bit of butter in the mash and some bisto.

Tie hope you are feeling better and that the weather is a little better for you x

I have but I can't seem to get in with its, always seems gloopy even when I whisk it in a bit of liquid as a slurry first. I prefer to use cornflour and syn it, but could just be me!
