I use this Jamie Oliver recipe every time we have roast pork. It always comes out well.
https://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/pork-recipes/6-hour-slow-roasted-pork-shoulder/
I have an old print out for boneless pork shoulder but it seems to have disappeared from the web. It only takes 2 hours for a 1.5 kg piece of pork. All the ingredients are the same. The cooking times are 30 mins on 220, 30 mins on 180, then put the veg in and another hour on 180. Obviously adjust for a smaller piece of meat.
I don't sieve the veg for gravy. I generally eat it. Cooks Perks.;):D0 -
Having pork shoulder out of the slowcooker today, will be pulled pork by the time it is on my plate, yum, have some low syn BBQ sauce to go with it plus lots of veg. Can feel I am less bloated now we are back in normal temperatures, thank goodness, ankles nearly normal size :rotfl:. Fingers crossed for a good loss Tuesday .
Chris and sue, hope you are ok as can be, given your circumstances xx

Thanks ,
DH is going down quite quickly now,all end of life stuff sorted .
Two of his sisters came last week ,stayed at a local pub and came daily.
It was good to see them especially as they are the practical two!
Seem to have gained 1lb but SW is not really my priority at the moment .
Will try and read back .

Thanks for the link and the boneless pork shoulder recipe. Both sound really good. Haven't got any pork shoulder at the moment so this will be something to go on the menu plan after my holiday - assuming I'll be finished at the hospital by then!
Sue sorry to hear your husband is deteriorating quickly now. Look after yourself. SW should be on the back burner for now.
