Amazingly I only put on 0.5lb after drinking a whole bottle of wine last night:eek:,

That's not fair! :mad:I gained 0.5lbs and I didn't have the bottle of wine.:(

I thought I'd adjusted syns enough to compensate for the 6 day week but obviously not. :(

Enjoy! It's a simple meal but I enjoy it. I love chips. :D Sometimes I do mushrooms and tomatoes and pickled onions or even asparagus with them to give plenty of speed.

You really shouldn't be finding tour food boring and bland Pollyanna. Good idea to try out a few recipes at the weekend while you have the time. If you want something easy and tasty Sainsbury's do a frozen chicken tikka masala in their Slim Choice range for 1.5 syns. It's a big pack (500g) and you'd have to add your own rice/chips etc but it's an easy tasty meal when you don't want to cook from scratch. Aldi do a similar one as well.

I'm out later for a meal and drinks with friends. I've been to this restaurant before and they have good food with some fairly SW friendly choices but it's not the start to the week I'd choose. I think I'll just enjoy myself and then try and be as good as I can for the rest of the week without feeling deprived. :)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit (free squash), HEB Weetabix, HEA milk, banana
L: omelette with bacon (P) and veggies (courgette, tomato, mushroom, peppers) with beetroot and pickled onions (S)
    D: tbc

Brilliant loss Top Girl - well done.

Pollyanna let us know what the sauce turns out like. Might be able to adapt it to become a cheese sauce by leaving out the ham and then stirring through the cheese right at the end after taking off the heat. It should melt from the heat of the sauce.

Just realised I didn't put my full meal for tonight's dinner on my earlier post! I'm also going to make some sweet potato chips and corn on the cob. Think I'll treat myself to some butter on the corn in addition to my usual black pepper!

I suspect the syns from last night's wine will catch up with me next week Maman, quite often happens when I have too many syns on a Wednesday.

  • Bubbs! Wow just wow!!! to the above pic...sigh................drool.............I am defo having this!!
What a lovely lot of people on this thread, I am so happy at the welcome I have received and grateful for the advice and direction!! :) Thank you
Well done to everyone's weight loss :)
My meals today are as follows:
Breakfast: I decided not to have greek yogurt and blend the fruit with syns so just ate the fruit on its own, tangerine (S) and apple (S) and a banana (F), couldn't eat the banana, again I was full, made a decision to eat the speed food first :)
Dinner: I had soup made from broccoli (S), carrots (S), mushrooms (S), onions (S) and sweet potatoes (F). With this I had a wholemeal roll (HEB) which I stuffed with beetroot (S) and 25g of cheddar (HEA or P??) I could only eat half the soup. I msut remember to eat the speed food firsts but then I know I need my healthy extras to give me a balanced diet which is the whole reason for doing slimming world.
Tea: Beetroot (S), rocket (S), tomatoes (S), cucumber (S), chicken (P), SW chips (F) and salad cream as I haven't bought the lighter mayo which was 4 syns.
Also had 3 cups of tea (HEA) and a milky coffee (HEA and 1 syn of sugar) and 3 jaffa cakes (7.5)
    Total syns 12.5
    Two HEA's and 1 HEB
I can't believe how full I feel when eating a meal, I do feel hungry about an hour and a half before my dinner and my tea but that is when I had the cup of tea and one jaffa cake and then later on the milky coffee, I am going to have another cup of tea in a bit with 2 jaffa cakes :)
Feels really weird that I can lose weight like this..............
Thank you again for helping and welcoming me :)
Weight loss 6lb/16lb 10lb to go
