Well done PIB a good loss.

Well done Pennylane. I didn't used to wear shorts except in the garden or on holiday! but now am quite confident wearing them out and about. It's not too bad round where I live because lots of people wear shorts as I live in a holiday area so I suspect a lot of people think I'm on holiday too!

Have got the oven on cooking the cottage pie and have cooked a couple of scotch eggs using Linda Mc Red onion and rosemary sausages. Getting to be a habit for my day's at the hospital! I do really like them though.

I also boiled a couple of extra eggs to keep in the fridge for when I'm peckish so I don't pick at biscuits, chocolate etc - especially as I haven't got any Syns left!

Well done on your loss poundsinbucks :T

And congratulations on your NSV Penny . :D

I think this is going to be another 'lucky to scrape a STS' week for me. I did really well until my friend asked me to go to the funeral tea. I was hoping to slip away but she'd been having issues with her family so wanted some moral support. I couldn't just sit there and have nothing so I ate 2 small sandwiches but it was the spritzer that probably finished off any syns I might have had left. I was tempted to have a s*d it day and come home and just open a bottle but I drew that line. :D

It's been a long day as longish journey but will relax after dinner. :)

    Today's EE menu :
B: HEB porage with HEA milk, banana, skinny syrup
L: Waitrose nicoise salad with tiny drizzle of dressing
    T: 2 sandwiches, spritzer
D: cold meat, chips, tomatoes, mushrooms and beetroot
    Syns : Anyone's guess

    Evening all.

Firstly, Happy Birthday Beanie! I haven't read back very far but saw it was your birthday so I hope you've had a great time.

Back from hols with a nice tan and, best of all, weighing exactly the same as before I went! I have eaten well on the whole, meals were all served buffet style with a fantastic salad bar, drinking loads of water and swimming daily has kept me on the straight and narrow, despite the ouzo our host insisted on plying us with.

I'll have a good read back later tonight after Bake Off - my substitute for actually eating cake!

    Have a good evening.

Still there bubbs . I went to see the GP. Because I insisted it doesn't feel right he's sending me for tests. My GP likes tests. :( So I'm having a blood test on Thursday and then I'm supposed to fix up a scan or an ultrasound. Not sure about that so I'll ask on Thursday.
