I know it sounds daft, but at home I always chill my red wine (Shiraz) too.
Much preferable to my taste than room temperature ...

I'm definitely a room temperature drinker! and absolutely never drink Shiraz! It always seems to have an aftertaste to me but that might just be my tastebuds! Favourite red it a nice Merlot.

    Thanks everyone:).
    I enjoyed my Kir Royale.
I had a couple of rhubarb & ginger gins. :D.

So you're more than likely to be falling over again today then!:rotfl:

Don't mean to tease you. I'm so glad you enjoyed your lunch.:A

I like Kir too but I'd only make it with a cheapish white wine like a Muscadet. It's a waste to put champagne with it IMO. After all Kir is like alcoholic Ribena!:D

Hope you licked up the watermelon bubbs.;)

DH is feeling a bit better now so is happy to have dinner. So meat's cooked and everything prepped and ready for later. We think it's a problem he had once before called BBPV, a sort of vertigo. It seems to have passed off now so he's just tired.:(

Well it slpit and splattered:rotfl::rotfl: but most was still inside, o i managed to cut it and tub it, then cleaned the carpet. I don't have carpet in the kitchen but it was on the side nearest the hall and typically rolled onto there:o:rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening everyone!

I am a bit behind as have only just found out that you've started a new thread!

Managed to lose 1lb at group this week. I have booked a holiday from group for next week, as I might be working but not sure yet and there isn't another suitable group for me to attend.

Couldn't stay at group this week as my daughter had the dentist and me a hair appointment straight after.

I hope everyone is getting on ok (I haven't really got time to catch up on the thread, as it's already on page 120!).
