Hope the gain was worth it.
I've just put 4 of the Aldi sausages in the freezer. I plan to cook the other 2 for tasting purposes.I noticed they looked bigger than the Waitrose ones so I checked the packaging.
Aldi are £2.09 for a 400g pack of 6. Waitrose are £3.00 for 360g. :eek:0 -
Afternoon all
Wet wet here again...
Denise the meatballs were really nice, actually had 2 (LM saus ) left so mixed with 2% turkey mince and 5 Heck Chicken sausage (which syned) plus some mixed herbs and veg oxo, they were really lovely lots of flavour and not too dry as turkey mince would be. Think the rosemary and onion flavour really helped. Had with spag and home made tom sauce. Think will use the LM sausages again to add flavour to meatloaf/balls or scotch eggs as they are really a nice mix....but honest if you grill them there is a real greasy taste and look. Hubby really liked them too
Bubbs I have just 1 1/2 lb to target so almost there. Fingers crossed for this week.
Can I ask a question about target, is it five pound either way or three!! Last week I was speaking to the lady who checks the consultants are doing things right(she was watching group and weighing) and she told me then I was close with just 2 lb, I never said anything but was told different week before!!
So if I want to get to actual target do I have 5 lb to loose after this nagging 2 lb.
Like maman says 3lb either way, if you have set your target at say 10st3, you need to get to 10st 3, but can go as low at 10st or as high as 10st 6, hope that makes senseBeen on a two week cruise and gained 5lb

Bubbs Sorry couldn't help laughing but what a mess to clear up!
Well done Sary and Vegastare on your losses.
Beanie Enjoy your meal and your Kir Royale! I love Kir but not so keen on Royale as not into fizzy wines - not even champagne:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Much prefer a red wine usually apart from when it's very hot then a nice chilled dry white.

I know it sounds daft, but at home I always chill my red wine (Shiraz) too.
Much preferable to my taste than room temperature ...0 -
