Maman. I was going to try 15 a day but that went out of the window last night as some friends popped in for a drink! Glad I stuck with gin otherwise I would probably have ended up drinking 2 bottles of wine (or more!). I'm still well within syns as only had 6 yesterday.

Not tried the Aldi sausages but if I can't get to my butchers for some reason I might give them a go if others think they're OK!

I tried the Iceland SW chips when they had them before and have to say neither DH nor me were impressed with them. Quite a few in group think they're wonderful and good time savers! but then most of those also use the ready meals which I don't bother with after trying a couple of them.

Have a good weekend everyone. Apart from popping to the butchers this morning to pick up some meat for my DDs I'm not venturing out anymore, it's too windy!

Curl girl you beat me to it about the SW chips! Agree with you they were awful. At least you didn't gain, I'm usually quite happy with an STS these days.

Well done on getting back into target Bubbs!

Congrats Bubbs, hope I get there this week.

I got the Linda Mc sausage (think Denise mentioned) very nice but was taken back at the grease taste, no fat came out of them it just seemed to taste that way....will certainly try Adli sauasge, have had the chicken ones and they are so like Heck....me thinks made for them by Heck:rotfl:

Making meatballs for tea and adding the two veggie sausage got left into them.

I don't eat the Linda Mc sausages as sausages, LOL! I only use them as the coating for scotch eggs as they actually mould quite easily. I find them easier than normal pork sausages for some reason! Daft as that sounds.

Wasn't keen on chicken sausages, bought some once from a farmers market. Not tried the Heck ones though.

Good idea adding the veggie sausages to the meatballs will probably make them quite tasty I would think.

:TWell done bubbs . Delighted for you.:T

I use the LM rosemary and red onion sausages for stuffing balls. Good addition to a roast. :)

I think I'd find it difficult to have syns daily as I've used a syn bank since the beginning. I certainly don't want to drink daily and other syns I'd have to force myself. :(

Thanks for the comments on the SW chips. I did experiment making my own frozen oven chips and it did work but I only did a few. When I was prepping chips, I froze a handful (after parboiling, cooling and spraying) then the next time I made chips I added them straight from the freezer. I'll try again when I have the time. :)

First weekend of the Premier league. Our first game is away so no Crunchie. :D I'll prep dinner while I listen to the radio. :heart2::footie:

Sorry to report I maintained this week. The scales hovered over a certain number which meant I would have lost half a pound then moved up!

I plan to try and exercise more this week and make sure I have a good third of my plate as speed food.

There's nothing wrong with a maintain! It's far better than a gain.

You may have lost inches. That can often happen when you don't lose.
