    Thanks maman!

I must admit- the macaroni cheese I batch cooked today was looking pretty synful until I realised I could use 2 HEAs! Not going to complain about that :rotfl:

A consultant that doesn’t like veg, that’s brilliant. Fruit is my issue- not really a fan.

Yes, that's right. She said she was virtually force fed veg as a child so had a phobia about it.

I don't eat much fruit either, almost all my Speed comes from veg and pickles (I eat loads of those :D).

Thanks bubbs . I'll be pleased with a loss, any loss or even STS! :D

Welcome Trixysticks. I don't go to group or have access to the app online, just doing it on my tod, with the help of the lovelies on here. Have managed to get 2 stone loss since January, so it's achievable.

Beanie, so sorry your mum has lost her furbaby boy - it's so tough to lose them :(

Maman, had you considered that you might have gained while away and just maintained since you've been back following your usual plan? Glad you've feeling it might be on the wane though, and good luck for WI.

    Meal plan today:
B - banana & no time for anything else as so busy at work
    L - mixed leaves, carrot, peppers, cucumber, sweetcorn, chicken thighs chopped up, dressing (2);
    Mid-pm - 0% greek yogurt, strawberries, nectarine & mango
late pm snack - 0% baked apple skyr (1.5)
D - SW korean beef ping meal, with a bit of LO mash to soak up the gravy. T'was delicious and definitely going to have that one again

Hope you're doing OK Percy
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

So sorry to hear that Beanie.

Good luck for WI tomorrow Maman.

It was a chana masala I cooked in the SC today. Have to say neither of us was impressed with it - in fact I hardly ate any of mine. Have wasted what was left - no point freezing it as it would just be stuck in the freezer for ages before being thrown away

It really is hard losing weight as we age, my stamina is not as good as before. Also, I kinda feel lazy to workout lately.

  • Good morning slimmers.

Difficult night for me- woken up by my husband who had low blood sugars (type 1 diabetic) then was up for an hour. Then later my dog woke me up (he had an op yesterday and isn’t very happy!) planned to go for a run this morning but overslept and it’s feeling too warm/I’m too tired!

Anyway, going to take it easy on myself today and will do a yoga video later instead. The stretching should feel really nice after tossing and turning all night.

    Today I’m planning:
    B- strawberries and 0% yogurt
L- toast with ham, avocado (4.5), eggs followed by fruit
D- lentil daal (5 for mango chutney if I add it) and rice
S- grapes, banana, peach, beetroot, carrot sticks.

One weird thing- in the night whilst being kept awake I felt painfully hungry, like I couldn’t sleep...had a banana but still felt the same. Anyway, lay in bed thinking about it- I actually think it was anxiety and I was mistaking it for hunger. Does anyone else have this? It was so horrible and I couldn’t shake it!

Hope everyone had a better night than me!!
