Just rang Sky as I wanted Sky+. Got it for £60 including Multiroom and also took their Broadband and phone packages. Best thing is I'll be paying a total of £35 a month for the lot instead of the £59 I'm paying to various people for the same!!!! Its made up of the 4 mix package for TV (£20), Multiroom for £5, Broadband for £5 and phone for £5 (the unlimited talk package) with free line rental.0

Hi All
Wonder if you can help. A friends grandfather rung up to get a deal for sky +, but was told if he cancelled he couldn't reconnect for 5 years. Anyone else been told this?
Thanks
Kim
Not true (I used to work for Sky)
This offer of sky+ for free if you recommend anyone....
I've heard of this before (you get upgraded to sky+ for free - box and install - and your friend gets sky+ for free - box and install. My question is...does anyone know if you HAVE to have a voucher/leaflet to get this.
I want to recommend my friend but i don't have a voucher.Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
I rang their sales dept to inquire about sky plus about an hour ago - they quoted me £150 plus installation - I said it was too expensive. The only other offers he said he could offer me was either to take broadband/phone calls which would make sky+ cheaper or to recommend a friend - didn't say I needed a leaflet. Half hour later I rang cancellations dept and explained I was after info re cancelling as I never got the time to watch sky and explained I was quoted £150 for sky+ which I wanted but was too expensive, straight away he offered it me for £49 inc installation, being installed next week.0

I think I posted this on the Sky CRedit Crunch deal thread, but might be of interest to others on here.
I have just been reinstated with Sky and got
FREE sky+
FREE installation
and £50 M&S voucher
and I just picked a couple of the cheaper viewing packages.
I want to move my phone and internet too, but am currently with Talk Talk, which will cost me £125 to get moved back to BT, which can then be taken over by SKY.
But I was told that sky would re-imburse the £125, by crediting my subscription account - so that will work out free.
I didn't need any code, didn't need to be referred by a friend, and I used a landline number - ie free with Talk Talk, so I am well please:T:j

Anyone managed to get a cheap HD Deal?
I currently have sky, full top package and top broadband package £10.
I also have multi room. Been with them longer than 12 months. Surely i should be able to get a better deal that £75 box and £60 instellation?
Any ideas?2009 Comping - 2x Superbowl Superbash tickets, body butter, easter hamper!:j0 -

I may do this if I can get it for £49.
It's much cheaper than the amount they are asking me for, which I refuse to pay.0 -
I've decided i hate sky!! Spent over an hour on the phone to ask how much they could do sky + for well they quoted £200! I told him no way and said they could do it for £150! Still far to much. I then asked if I was to cancell what was to stop my boyfriend from calling tomorrow and get the much better offer for new customers a free sky plus and £50 m&s vouchers for my mum to introduce him. Well a very rude lady in cancellations told me they would know what we were doing.
Do you think they really would know and not give us the free box!0
