You're not gonna get better than free sky+
If you're not tied to talk talk, personally Id get it all with sky, they give free broadband too, and do the line rental and free calls. Its worth a call to them I spose to see what they offer you on the phone front.

Does anyone have the number to call sky

    thanks guys

sorry, the numbers on the original post.....
  • Well I was moving to new build house.
BT were looking £125 for a new phoneline activation.
But i also was intrested in sky.
The deal they give me was.

Pay my BT line activation on condition I took sky broadband.
    Sky HD Box including installation(£79)
Marks and Sparks Vouchers £100 (£50 for me and £50 for friend who referred me)
    £15 credit off first Bill.
  • I managed to get sky + for my parents as a crimbo pressie today for £49!
This is abouyt the fourth time I have tried, but each time was quoted £99 plus installation.
I spoke to a great guy in cancellations. If you just say you are going to cancel your subscription, he offered me £49 plus £30 installation. I told him that was too much, so he waived the installation!
    Great!
Worth a few phone calls, but got there in the end!
It is worth a try for anything on Sky!!!

    Hi All
Wonder if you can help. A friends grandfather rung up to get a deal for sky +, but was told if he cancelled he couldn't reconnect for 5 years. Anyone else been told this?

    Thanks

Not sure about that. When I cancelled they kept bombarding me with phone calls offering me special deals to return. I can't imagine them not wanting a customer to return especially if they sign a 12 month contract.

I think they were just trying to put you off from cancelling. I have never heard that you couldn't reconnect for 5 years.

if you are a new customer then you can get free sky plus if you are recommended by someone. Not only do you get free sky plus but I'd get free sky plus too so if you are interested in joining please PM me so i can send you the relevant email and we can both benefit. This can all be done online so no having to call up sky waiting for ages and haggling either.
    We'll both be winners!
I also have a voucher for this if anyone interested.
