I got sky+ today for £29 in Currys and £30 installation to Sky (£59 in total), not as good as as previous people were offered, but when I tried phoning last week I was told they were not doing the £49 anymore even though I threatened to cancel.

The Currys offer is supposed to be when you buy a tv, but online this was not stated and I read they were honouring this in stores. Online they are all sold out, but I managed to get this deal today in a store. Its being fitted in 10 days and was arranged by Currys instore so at least I don't have to phone Sky again. I was told they would ring me on 20 Dec to give me an installation time.

Hi, did you have to buy anything to get this price at PC World? I tried Currys for the same deal but insisted it's only with purchase of a TV.

With this offer do you have to give them your old sky box? And when it's installed does your card from the old sky box work? Sorry, I'm a bit stupid with "technical" things. I had rung sky to get my pin no, tell them not to use my personal data and was put through to Customer Services to ask if I could get on for £49.99 (Xmas pressy to me from Mum), but they took so long to answer I gave up. I could go to PC world on Monday, is this offer easy to find? PC World is next to Currys as well.

With the 01506 number you get nowhere! I was just offered Sky+ at £149 they didnt even look at my account. They said they would do it free if I referred a new customer to SKy but I said everyone I knew already had sky. He took my phone number and said he would call me back if he got anyone ringing up directly asking for sky and then would say I referred them. But I have not heard anything. I called Friday.

I dont see how anyone is getting this for free or £49?
