I switched in March 2020 to their Ampere electricity only tariff. The switch went well from their end and they were really proactive with their communication. I had to call them a couple of times due to problems created by the supplier I was leaving and I got through easily and they were very helpful.
Ongoing, everything is working well with good communication.
Their web site automation and processes are great.
A good supplier with modern systems. Two months in to my contract and it's still the cheapest I can find.
I would recommend.1 -
Yes I switched Jan 24 and am so glad I did. Same as you only problem I had on switching was of my ex suppliers creation0

Tried to join them but they said they'd be charging me double the advertised standing charge due to my Restricted Metering Infrastructure. Legislation says that energy companies aren't allowed to do this, but since green have only about 40,000 customers, they're exempt from this so were perfectly within their rights to do this. I cancelled my switch. Their customer service folk were very responsive though. My experience is very unusual - only applies if you have a nonstandard meter.

bsms1147 said:I ran my figures and even paying two standing charges it was still cheaper for me than SSE who were charging me just the one. Bulb also charged two, couldn’t find one that wouldn’t apart from my legacy supplier SSE.Interesting. "Energy Market Investigation (Restricted Meters) Order 2016 " says that they shouldn't be allowed to charge you extra for your restricted metering infrastructure, so I'd dispute this if you can be bothered.I don't want to hijack this thread so maybe follow up here if you're interested to continue this discussion: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6140591/comfort-plus-white-meter-and-similar-dts-experiences#latest

I'm a regular switcher and have a set of relating meters. I have been paying 2 standing charges for a while.
Being with green works in my favour due to their low standing charges.

Petriix said:I've just initiated a switch away from Green, purely because I can get a cheaper fix (with 0 exit fees) elsewhere. I'll let y'all know if there's any hitches. One slightly annoying thing is that, in anticipation, I requested that they reduce my direct debit so that I didn't build up credit. They happily reduced it, but then immediately increased it again - possibly an automated part of their system. Other than that, there have been no problems. Their app and online account area work fine (although the 'your insights & trends' bit has remained empty since I joined in October 2019) and each monthly meter reading has resulted in an accurate bill.0
