  • I switched both gas and electricity at the beginning of August and everything seemed to go Ok. However ive just had my final bill from my previous electric supplier Bulb and it seems that the final reading I submitted to both Bulb and Green has been  acknowledged but ignored and an estimate used some 350kwh more than the actual readings. I'm unsure which company is responsible for sorting this out and how im going to get on submitting readings to Green that are less than  they expect.

    My opening reading is wrong
  • Hi Sandybanks! There are a few reasons an estimate can be generated when changing supplier, in most cases this is where the reading doesn't seem to fall in line with some of the previous supplier's data (this could happen if they've recently swapped your meter, or if you've had estimated readings in the past).

In these cases, both suppliers will talk to each other and agree the correct read. This process ensures suppliers work together whenever a reading is changed and that the billing is accurate from both suppliers.

I'd be happy to take a look and get this sorted out for you, if you could send over some account details as a private message I will get this process started for you.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

  • Have now been with Green for 10 months since last October on their ‘Oak’ tariff (Variable, No exit fees, No Warm Home Discount, Green electricity).  Absolutely no problems and received a prompt and courteous response when I contacted them.  They’ve always proved to have the cheapest tariffs (and I do check regularly).  In summary, an excellent provider.

Big shock this afternoon - guy from TMA (data collections) called to read my leccy meter on behalf of Green - first time in nearly 5 years !!  Good for them ,I say. Now wonder when anyone will read the gas meter - last read in 2014 according to my records!
  • It was great to see our latest tariff mentioned on The Martin Lewis Money Show this evening.
The cheapest supplier for 12 month fixed 100% renewable energy tariff.

  • Looking at transferring to Green as been transferred to Scottish Power as a former Tonik customer. Not happy with Scottish Power and their tariffs and Green seem to have a similar green philosophy to Tonik. Just waiting for SP to sort my account out.

  • The tariff in the compare site is INCORRECT,
Chestnut is 12.424and not 12.023p per kWh
