Do the normal rules about how long it takes to produce a final bill / time taken to refund credit and associated compensation apply when a SoLR takes over?

I was also wondering at what point the SoLR's tariff kicks in? Is it the day they are appointed, or the day you are official registered as a customer with them?
Answer to first question is no - I waited 5 months last time (GNE to EDF)

The SoLR tariff is applied from the day they are appointed so a read should be registered on this date

Just curious, but did you take the delay to ombudsman but they rejected because it was SoLR?

No I did not raise an Ombudsman complaint

AFAIAA Ofgem does not define a time limit for an SoLR transfer so I cannot see how you could successfully complain unless the process completes & you have just been forgotten about

An SoLR transfer is always going to be dependant on how many customers have to be transferred i.e. the more customers there are the longer it will take

I think many of the small suppliers may be peddling that petition. I've had from bother Green and PfP.

Yes, I got it from PFP. What a bunch of entitled whiners. "Obviously you little  working two jobs on the minimum wage should give us business owners a free handout because we're disruptors and therefore superior so we should just get everything handed to us...."

I received a new bill from Green Energy today for the period from the 26/8/21 - 25/9/21, my next billing date is the 21/10/21. My account is still in credit should I cancel my direct debit with the bank?

It is likely that Green Energy would have been taken over by this date, any idea if Green Energy will be still collecting payments after they cease trading?

I was due to be billed on 11th but even till now I don`t have any bill issued. In my case I think it`s because that on August bill they put an extra 500 Kw on night(Economy 7) on their estimated reading.

I've cancelled my direct debit with Green as I'm in credit and on my last bill the Sept DD didn't appear as they issued the bill the day before the DD was taken. So I'm more in credit than my last official bill shows. The credit in my account will more than cover my next bill without another DD payment (which would have been the beginning of Oct, and I didn't want it being taken if they've ceased trading).
  • Here we go - email from green wanting final meter readings - despite me already moving to neon reef (and supplier checker confirms this). I owe them 88p so I’m not bothered if they have to !!!!!! around, but I’m not getting moved from neon onto shell because green don’t know their !!!!!! from their elbow

SOLR seems to be Shell Energy, and they have taken over the accounts as of today.
Are Shell Energy any good, and stable??
They say to not cancel the DD as it will transfer over.
Ok, let's see how things go...

About as stable as BP, Esso, Texaco and all the other oil companies that are gradually changing into "energy companies".
