Green aren't the only company stopping people joining at moment . I don't blame any company not wanting new customers at moment. The price of gas and electric has gone sky high.

Not impressed with Green's responses on live chat lately - it now seems to be only this:I can't help but feel that something's brewing, which is especially exciting as I await my refund from them.
Hello,
Thank you for your message, we do apologise for the delay in response. Due to the current wholesale market, we are receiving a high influx of customer demand, which is causing a delay in our communications across our phone lines and LiveChat. Due to this, we are prioritising emergencies, and ask that if your query is not an emergency that you email us at support@green.energy and our email team will get back to you as soon as possible, this will prevent our customers from waiting around in our LiveChat and phone lines for a response.
If your query is an emergency please respond back to this message to reopen your chat with our agents and we will get back to you as soon as possible, this is to ensure we can assist all customers who require immediate support as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your understanding.

Smaller provider Green today warned it is among the small suppliers facing going bust due to record wholesale prices.
'I don't think we'll survive the winter if there's not a material change,' CEO Peter McGirr told the Guardian.
The start-up was founded in 2019 and has more than 250,000 customers and 185 employees.

I'm sticking with Green as I'm on a fixed tariff until January and let's face it, they're all in a pretty dire situation so who's to say that the company you choose to move to won't go bust as well (unless it's one of the big six, of course). Hopefully the government will help them out. 🤞0
