    Right, evening all!

Having paid off one of my 4 targets I am now thinking of my cc at £656.

My lodger is giving me his January rent when he gets paid on the 21st of December, I have sold 2 books on Amazon giving me £4 and I have just managed to do a bit of extra work for a mate giving me £24.

So, I am £388/656 so far. Hmmmm better think of some more ideas:confused:

Thanks:D I am just getting so stressed about it because my mortgage needs renewing the 29th of feb, so I will need to sort it out soon and the more I can pay off before hand the easier it will be.

I have had a sh%t day at work, am sitting here getting a bit merry cos I cant sleep and things are beginning to get a bit on top of me.

At least with the sofa paid off I am now sub 160k:o yikes thats scary

  • Hi all

Not doing too bad. £114 off the 2 debts I am aiming to clear by April. Not bad going! I have overspent this month sadly  but not by too much. It just means I haven't had as much money as I wanted to chuck at my debts. However I have been making use of everything that is in the cupboards, making lots of yummy pasta dishes and soups. I have even managed to use all the bread this week by ensuring I actually ate it rather than chucking it in the bread bin and forgetting all about it until it went green.

On the other plus side, I have forgotten the pin number to my credit card so I can't use it!! :j

Pay day next week so hopefully I will have a bit more to throw at the debts. Only foreseeable problems is moving house in January.

BTW, does anyone know how I cancelled Experian credit reports so I don't get charged when the free period is up?

  • Progress on debt 2 of 4,

    Original target : £656 currently at £631
So far I have paid in £15 of change and £10 I didnt spend on my Xmas shopping.

I will be getting the rent from my lodger for January £360 next weekend, £14 from Amazon on the 16th, £6 from Ebay any day now. I cant make it do my works Xmas do so hopefully I will be given a £50 Marks voucher which my OH will buy off me and at least £72 from a second temporary job before the end of December.

So theres bits and pieces in the pipeline and hopefully I should have this debt knocked on the head by the end of the month so I can start 2008 with no credit card debt:D

I am hoping to get nearly all my unsecured debt paid off in this challenge to enable my to start (well kind of:o ) hacking away at my mortgage and the 5k I borrowed from my mum to get my flat- which I am counting as a mortgage even though I am not paying interest its still a debt owed on my home.

Anyway enough of my prattling away.

    Good luck everyone :T
