I'd love to do some matched betting but i have tried to understand it to no avail. Do let us know how you get on!
Well done everyone else! We are on a roll, and considering it is nearly xmas i say we are doing great!!!!
I was bummed cause i only made slightly more than normal minimum payments but then i realised that Pre LBM i would have been buying xmas presents on these accounts and adding to them not reducing the balances in december! So i'm done beating myself up over it.

Talk about amazing timing...please can I join! We have £2500 on an interest free credit card that runs out in April. It was for work on our house and the aim is to pay it off before interest kicks in. It will be so much easier to pay it off if I can join in this thread. I'm self employed so any extra work I get on top of my regulars will go towards paying it off so I need to up my work big time. Good luck to everyone xxJanuary budget

Hi everyone,
wow! You've all been getting ahead of me!
I've only paid £20 of the O/D so far as i've just been stiffed with a £1700 tax bill  ...... They were supposed to just raise my tax code, which they've done, but have also taken the whole lot out of this months wages which included my bonus.
However, onwards and upwards, i start a new job on Monday, £5k a yr payrise, so the extra i'll be taking home each month is going off the O/D so i can still make my April challenge :j
Too be fair to myself, I've also paid a huge chunk off the gas and electric bills as well so i've not done too bad paying off the total debts...Total debt at LB Moment (Nov 2007) = £6583 £4649 20.03.09
£5060 Black horse Loan - £4114 as of 20.03.09
£940 o/d with hsbc - -£535 as of 20.03.090 -
Hiya
I can't keep away now i've started. I'm waiting for just over £30 to clear from Quidsco and i'm up to £7.45 on pigsback. My ciao surveys is sitting at £18.00 and yougov is around £35.00. I need to pay £500 a month off the % free credit card so i'll save those amounts for any month when I'm struggling. If we keep to budget each week i'll also be able to put some of OHs salary towards my bid to pay off the card.
It's great to be starting this challenge in December as it means i'll be really careful not to overspend. Even if I don't make the full £500 this month it'll still be better than overspending and knocking nothing of it so i'm feeling quite positive xxJanuary budget

I'd like to join in too if nobody minds!
I have £2300 on a credit card that I won't clear by April but I would certainly like to shift £1000 of it by then.
I used to get big bonuses (up to £1000 a quarter that have seemed to have dried up recently) that regularly paid off the card. I now realise that I have to stop spending on it (not touched it for ages now) and I have to find the cash from elsewhere!
So I'm aiming to get it down by £1000 by April and not increase it AT ALL!
Fingers crossed!0
