So good to see so many people joining this challenge.

I have had a busy couple of days and have already fallen behind. I am off work tomorrow so going to sit down and work out how much I can use of this months wages to pay off the card and get this done.

Then I'm going to scour the house for stuff to ebay :D

Very pleased with myself - just made my first ever ebay listing on some gig tickets that I've just found out that I can't go to.
Woudl usually just give them away - was I bonkers? £60 worth of a present to someone!

Well Just done a few sums, looks like My overdraft may be lower than current target by December paydate, but due to a few extra expenses this month it will have increased again by January pay day. So need to really need to make a bing effort to get some money in before middle of January to prevent this from happening. On the plus side I've worked out that I should have an extra £88 towards in in February and March due to Council tax being paid over 10 months not 12.
  • I would like to join in. I am trying to pay almost 2 years council tax (£1800). If I don't pay it up by April I'm going to struggle with next years. I don't know if I'll manage it but I'm going to give it a good go.

I'd like to cleare my Lloyds c/c £2,106.01 I'm not sure if I'll be able to do this but I'm going to use eBay, quidco and any savings that are lying around in the hope of managing it.

    Good Luck Everyone!!

    Hiya everyone
I've worked out that if I can keep within budget each week then i'll definitely be able to pay of the 0% interest credit card by April. However, this means I have to stick to it through December too. Problem is i've only got £40 left for this week and need to put £10 petrol in the car, pay £50 chq to school for DDs music lessons and it would be handy if I could feed the children this week too. Think i'm going to have to do some juggling around but determined to pay this card off by April.

Hope things are going well for everyone. Have a good weekend xx

  • Have paid £145 off my credit card, £95 from money left over from last month and £50 from eBay sales.

Once my regular payment comes out I'll have £955 to find.

I've just submitted my expenses form - I was expecting it to be approx £40, it was over £90

So that's another £50 to the total. I'm going to count it up at the end of the month when my overtime and expenses will both be in the bank and I'll hopefully have some money left over from my wages.
