Are you thinking of dropping the weekend job once you feel comfortable with finances?
Yes definitely, once the debt's gone I'll be leaving that job, if I want to make a bit extra at the weekend I can always do some more hours of the online work which will at least be sitting at home in my comfy clothes rather than out doing customer-facing work lol. It just makes sense to stick it out until the debt is gone (which is half the reason I took it on) and utilise the discounts I can get at an expensive time of year0 -
Yeah it deffo sounds like the one to stick with is the online work, at least with that one you can be at home doing it. Hopefully once your debt free you will not be relying on it as much either so that will be a big plus.0

It is hard to stick at multiple jobs. Don't over-do it - take care of yourself too along the way.
I will do, I remember clearly burning myself into the ground at my old job, don't plan on ever getting that way again!
On a positive note, can't remember if I mentioned it, but for my full-time job a while back I got nominated for an "unsung hero" award. I found out this morning I am one of the finalists, so I will be off to the "do" in November for dinner and drinks all on them lol. They said its a "tuxedo" event so I will need to buy myself something fancy at some point0 -
The extremely long weekend is over, I survived!
I got a NSD yesterday, and will get another one today so that will be a good start to the week!
OH and I are going to see IT: Chapter 2 tonight, but we have our cinema cards so won't need to pay for the tickets, and if he fancies popcorn, he can pay as I paid for us and the kids to go out to eat at the weekend :rotfl: although, the place we went to had a 20% off offer for using their app for the first time, so a cheeky little saving was had there! 4 fed and watered for £26
I have the physio appointment tomorrow where I should hopefully finally get referred for my scan, so looking forward to that.
I also am working 5 days this week, then my weekend job, then 5 days off of the full-time job, so very much looking forward to that, too.
Also, roll on Friday when it's debt-busting day
I think I will need to use my EF this weekend, our bed randomly broke/gave way whilst we were watching tv yesterday morning, so looking to get a new bed when I get my money come in on Friday. It's been on its way out for a while, I'm surprised it survived the last move to be honest. I may be able to juggle money and not have to touch my EF, but it's good to know I have it there to contribute my half if necessary. No panic over where to scrape together some money from something urgent, how times have changed!
On a random note, my water flosser I bought has proved to be a good investment as it is doing wonders for my gums, so don't mind that I spent money on that if it is doing me some good0 -
Physio appointment was not what I expected, but not at all a bad appointment. Today it was with someone who specialises with foot injuries, and she suspects I may have damaged the ligaments underneath my foot that help to support the foot, so she has taped up part of underneath of my foot to see how it gets on, and I must say it's much, much less painful than it usually is to walk, so hopefully we're finally onto a correct diagnosis!
She did also say she is going to discuss my symptoms with some other physios that also are qualified in other specialities, to see what they think, too.
I have ordered some of the tapes she used, to keep taping it up and see how I get on, if it stays pain free, etc. Fingers crossed!
I don't think I need to spend anything else tomorrow or Thursday, so it will just be Friday when I order OH's main gift, and clear some of my debts. I need to pick up something in Boots on the way home tonight, but that is a planned spend as I knew I had run out, and had to spend today on petrol (and now tape) anyway0 -

Glad to hear that although physio did not go as planned it at least seemed to help ease the pain a little. It must be tough on you though this issue has been ongoing for a while now without any proper resolution. Here is hoping they can pinpoint the issue and get it sorted for you. Are you still managing to be able to run/gym stuff?0

I've still been doing low impact stuff at the gym like cycling or cross training and some weights, although yesterday I did do a 5k run just to test how my foot would feel with the tape on, and whether I could still run 5k :rotfl: I won't be doing it again in a hurry as I don't want to damage my foot further, but it held up okay and is not as sore as it usually is after exercise, and I did manage the 5k non-stopI have some tape coming today so should feel better once it's taped up again

As much as my foot is a bit sore from the run last night, my legs are definitely feeling it more :rotfl: I am chuffed though, that I managed a continuous 5km run without having done that for an extremely long time, I thought I would struggle as I haven't done anything that requires much exertion for a long time, but it was honestly like riding a bike! I got to 1km and just thought, 'I can definitely do this four more times'. I honestly felt like doing air guitar mid-run to my music I was that happy, and had to resist the urge to be singing loudly on the way home. The second I shut my front door on the other hand...
Finally had £5 of Nectar points credited this morning, so have £10 to take off of my shopping this weekend. I have decided to stick with online shopping whilst I'm working at the weekends, because I do get discount and it means that once I am home from work, I can just unwind/do some more online work.
My cashback for the meal we had on Saturday also finally tracked on my bank account, so getting £2ish back at the end of next month in cashback, making it even more of a bargain!
Going to be a NSD today, brought my lunch with me, don't need to buy anything, and hoping for more of the same tomorrow!0
