Are you allowed to post your result though (even though still unofficial) - we were told it must be kept absolutely secret (even on-line!) until we got the actual report.

Possibly we had a very over-cautious OFSTED inspector? I assume it's not a problem if you weren't told not to..0

big pat on the back pigpen for all your work for the school. It is hard work getting parents involved in our sort of areas, so i am sure you are very much appreciated.
I am pleased it is the weekend. The only downside is that i have to try and get a cat urine sample from one of them, and also one cat needs to lose weight and the other could do with putting a bit on.
I will hopefully be having a good whizz round the house this evening and tomorrow before the ILs visit with the new car, and also doing lots of school work.
Serena, i agree we do have a lot of observations - i had 6 in my NQT year which was a lot, but i have already had one full lesson and one part lesson observation with my head of department, 2 part lesson observations from the LEA inspector, one 25 min observation with my form, and when i talked to the head of department today about the observations next wednesday i was told that i could expect to be seen in 3 lessons on wednesday. And i've only been back 11 weeks. Union view is 3 per year, i am sure it is because of having been in special measures, but we have been out of that for nearly a year now, so i guess just to try and maintain and improve standards. It has put a dampener on my weekend plans a bit but i give up being too stressed.
Just told the neighbours i am pregnant again. Also enquired if their teenage daughter was interested in babysitting duty, and apparently she is, so i will be organising some nights out for me and DH over the coming months before all the sleepless nights and hard parenting starts again.
Anyway, bathtime in our household as me and charlie have just been eating sneaky choccie biccies and we are a bit messy. My trousers are now a state so i may just stick on my PJ bottoms again too.
See you all in a while0 -
I am child free!!!
And eating soup. Been to asda, was naughty and ate half a jar of baby beetroot, few handfuls of chocolate and whatever else i could shove in my gob while unpacking (most) of it!:rotfl:
Pigpen, well done on the OFSTED! I'm sure you will manage to [STRIKE]bully[/STRIKE] talk some more people into helping out. Kids would look cute as elves though! Paint their faces and dress them in jeans and a shirt, then say they are 'Thourghly Modern Elves'.0 -

Well I am stuffed. Ham was very nice as was the jam tarts and mince pies, I have resisted the caramel shortbread (so far:rotfl: ). DH not home yet as rang to say that the d*ck he works with was on holiday today and all the reports he generated for client meetings today were wrong, so he has had to spend 5 hours manually going through all the figures. Think said d*ck may wish he had not returned to work when he goes back on Tuesday, not gone down well with the directors.
Have fed littles, tidied the kitchen, re-hoovered lounge and swept kitchen floor so everywhere looking good, dread to think how it will look after the weekend (actually make that tomorrow morning by 7am).
Rumbly - dont beat yourself up hun! I have done bare minimin all week but today everything clicked. I've not played catch up because I know it will all come around again next week. I do have to say that setting a timer for half an hour can make a huge difference. It really is amazing just what you can do when you focus for that short amount of time.
:T Well done pigpen. I would love to get more involved with things at our school but lack the confidence. Maybe next year when little one starts in reception I will take the plunge.
Right off for a drinky pooh or two in the glamourous location of my own front room;)0 -
Evening ladies
DS2 is home and glad to be so. He has had a good time, but is very tired, muddy and has a cough/sore throat.
Pigpen missed you hun but meant I could make some headway on your post count. Congrats on the report. Two governors at the secondary were trying to talk me into being a governor today. I know all about taking over PTA events but I've done my time, I'm off in February after 3 years.
Rumbly don't give up on the flying - I am forever falling off the wagon but always so pleased when I jump back on. For me it has been a good week for flying but I have had some awful ones too. The key for me is to keep reducing the clutter as it makes the cleaning easier.
Tia enjoy your time
Shell you get so much out of helping out with school, not everybody is a gobby as me and miss PP and the best bit of all is the example you set to your kids - mine all loved being PTA kids
Right I need to run a bath and rotate kids through it and make DS3 bed.
I shall return xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Well done Pigpen
Shell I might steal the ham in cola idea, got one in the freezer to use, I did it in fresh apple juice last time which was lovely but fancy trying cola. Do you just put it in the SC with a can of cola? Oh and what do you serve it with?
Well my wing mirror has arrived, DP fitting it tomorrow, I've got loads of paperwork to sort through so will definately be doing that one off the weekend list.
Still got to pot up the chilli and bolognese, still cooling, think I will do it once I have put the boys to bed. Roll on 8pm!One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Okay I've done nothing again - had to take DH to the hospital - he's still there, still waiting to see a doctor - been there since 7.30.
Plan for tomorrow is to try and have a major tidy up. DH was supposed to be doing my car with my dad tomorrow and then going shopping for my birthday present on Sunday but it depends whether he comes home or not!
Tired now so going to go to bed. DH is going to ring me when he eventually gets seen so that will wake me up and DD has stayed at my mate's house
across the road so I have told her to ring me if she wakes up in the night and wants to come home and I'll go and fetch her. Left the kids there while I went to the hospital!
Hope everyone's well

Dusty glad your DS had a good time
Julie hope your DH got sorted and is ok
Didn't get to bed till 1.30 (stupid POTC at worlds end lol) and OH is here so he's taken up room in MY bed I'm so not used to sharing it, as lovely as he is I wish he'd gone home instead lol he sprawled over about 5am and that was it I was up, so I've had about an hour
My minds whirling, missing DD1 like mad these last few days so that's not helping but mainly christmas and who's getting what and how I am going to pay for it lol and how I wish it was over already - I stress myself out but don't know how to stop it.
Kids both slept out last tonight (now infact lol) and I'm fretting about littley being too cold, she took flimsy pj's and a fleece  and it's freezing.
I want to do some cleaning but I'll wake OH if I do, might do some quiete pottering....
