Well I decided to go to the shops before it got too busy and what happened? It snowed! :eek: Got a few bits from the pound shop including a hot water bottle and cover for littley, I bought myself one the other day and she nabbed it, so now she's got her own it's got a lush pink girlie cover too :T they make such a difference on the night time.

Got myself a sausage and egg mcmuffin for my brekkie, gonna make a brew then start, honest!

Have inlaws coming for weekend so need to stop wasting time reading these posts and crack on. Only advantage of them coming is that they will look after kids for the night on saturday so we can go away to a hotel for the night! (it's my Birthday on monday)
Todays list:
clean , tidy and make up bed in spare room
wash + hoover all floors
quick s+s all over house
smile sweetly + try not to look too keen when DH offers drinks this evening!!:beer:

Morning all just back from walking the dog and it is one of those days where you don’t mind being outside very crisp, icy and sunny here. Cold seems better think the early night helped even managed to sleep in slightly this morning.

My bits for today –

Evening meal
S&s kitchen
[STRIKE]S&s living room[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Walk dog[/STRIKE]
Collect niece from playgroup
[STRIKE]Ski bag together for DD1[/STRIKE]

Hoover traffic areas.



Friday - those frightening Friday kid room (going to just do DD2 room this week and DD1 next week)
Level One
Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see
Level Two
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade, curtain rails or above the door frame.
Level Three
[STRIKE]Strip beds and replace with fresh linen [/STRIKE]in the wm.. check if duvets need freshening up too!!
Drag all that junk out from under the bed and deal with it as required e.g. bin, put away, wash etc
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
Extra Task List

As usual pick any one or more of the following if you fancy an extra challenge today and are still alive after entering the kids rooms!!

• Look in that medicine cupboard... is there anything you can fling? Is there anything you need to stock up on?
• Time for the Friday Flylady Fling, in the toy box!!!! aim for 27.. if no toy box you’ll have to choose another area!
• Clean 2 radiators or the skirting in any room of your choice!.. or you could do both!
• Clean any one (or more) window that needs doing
• 30 minutes ironing (if you iron, unlike me )

Morning everyone,
Didn't get a chance to get much flying done yesterday, so now i'm 2 days behind:eek: . Really need to catch up today.

Went to me courses yesterday, came home to find sister and her fella here and they stayed for dinner, so cooked for 7 i don't mind but it totally screwed up menu for rest of week, so think i'll redo it tonight.

right time for cuppa, anyone fancy a cup.

quick wave from me as usual. popped home from work in my part-time hours today, although will need to go back any minute. Will catch up better this evening.

• complete paperwork before leaving school

• pasta and tomato based sauce for dinner
• bring in the bin

• take my car off the road - deliver to new owner?
• write a list for the weekend

extras:

• changed charlie's cot this am
• washed the bedding this am
• buy charlie's nursery helper who is leaving a small pressie
• buy a bottle of wine for cheese and wine charity thing at school
• put compost out in the bin
• put cat boxes back in the garage

Sat

• food shop
• do any work for school today as ILs visiting tomorrow

Sun

• cook a dinner for us and the ILs
• take new car out for a spin so i can get used to it before driving to work on monday
• drop ILs off at the train station to catch train home
• pay ILs for the car

general weekly list:

• iron clothes for myself and charlie for the week
• wash my woolies
• wash a couple of loads of DH's stuff one load done

• wash my laundry bag
• wash curtain for hall as it is freezing in there
• take up the curtain
• wrap amazon presents when they arrive
• empty out my car
• clean rear windows where the sunshades and car toys have been stuck
• write at least 5 xmas cards.
• send off ETS reply to SAT marking contract

I will be trying to do some more when i get in tonight, but loo trip, and then i must go as i am teaching at 12:50

Afternoon all

Been busy this morning. Usual morning routine then dash home for driving lesson. Luckily instructor was running late so I got to hoover lounge, sweep kitchen floor, mop kitchen, porch and bathroom floors. Wash dishes and clear draining board and wipe down paintwork on kitchen doors - was pleased with that:D . So after my lesson just a quick tidy in the bedrooms and hoovered those and then cracked on with the ironing so all up to date.

I love today:j , first day this week;) .

Collected DD2 from nursery, popped to shop and now have gammon joint in slow cooker with can of coke (yummy!) Planning on doing some baking later, need to put stuff for rolls in BM. Want to make a banana loaf too in the BM - anyone got a good recipe??

My weekend off so off to santas grotto at colchester zoo (courtesy of Mr T!), we went last year and it was fab so hoping weather forecast still looks good.

Right off for a coffee and will then put the ironing away.

Afternoon all

Two loads of washing done, including throws from living room. Out in the sun and blowing well - blooming cold though.

Gave all the worktops in the kitchen a good wipe down, dusted living room, vacuumed all through downstairs. Bedrooms were all done together on Wednesday.

Gave the fish tank a water change and clean. Our last remaining fish says he isn't going anywhere, he's still going to live forever;)

Dinner cooked, eaten and cleared away.

I feel really tired today, I had a bad night with lots of tiring dreams. Not nice tiring, scary tiring.

Invigilating finished.

Popped in at the corner shop to get a birthday card and was tempted by a big bar of glaxay chocolate.

Going to make a welcome home cake for DS2 now so I have time to bake it before the school run.

Upstairs hoovered so just need to wipe our bedroom, mop bathroom floor and short out DS3 room - he can help, he has be warned and he doesn't mind helping - he is a bit of a control freak!

Still waiting for inlaws to arrive, bet they don't get here in time for school run, kids will be disappointed.
