Suit made - brought 2 long sleeved tshirts for £1.60 each in tesco and am using one as the top and have cut the other to make legs. All stitched together into a 'catsuit' just doing the white fury chest. Tomorrow I will do the tail and put some stripes on the back and it will be done - I'll try to do a photo once complete if I can work out how to.

Rach no idea with the insurance, I would say call anyway if the value is worth it (compared to your excess) worst they can say is no.

Hugs for Dusty, know how you feel today, costume sounds fab :) Wish I was as good with sewing etc. I still haven't braved getting the mini sewing machine out yet. I wanted to use it before Xmas to decide if I wanted a 'proper' one for Xmas. Saying that there has been a few on freecycle so I might ask on there first. My Mam used to work sewing, as did some of my Auntys, they even made things like our bridemaid dresses for weddings etc, but Mam never really had the patience to teach us, she also had her own knitwear business but was my Dad who taught us to knit, not that I can remember :o

DS1 running round with dracula teeth in, refused to wear them at halloween, strange child.....

Oh I came here to say new list is up http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=606152 ooops I forgot. Roll on 8pm and fingers crossed I will feel better in morning...my heads fell off today I think..
One day I might be more organised...........
