    Afternoon all

Much nicer day here today, one load of washing out on the line.

Generally tidied round, roast dinner cooked, eaten and washed up. Made cheesecake (from a packet) for tea. Used to buy these years ago (Greens) and I thought it might be handy to have a couple in for Christmas because they are quick to make and won't take up room in the freezer. I'm sure they used to have a foil packet of fruit topping but they only seem to do plain now. We're going to shove some tinned mandarins on the top. As long as we still like it I'll order a couple more for the store cupboard.

Afternoon, been a lazy morning for me as I feel yakky, laid on the bed while the boys played with the train set after getting DP up at 7am so he could go out. Just got back up again an hour ago, breakfast :o now made and eaten, kitchen tidied a bit, DW emptied and refilled.

Michelle. Yes sometimes if caught early the drops etc can work very fast, DS2 had it his first Xmas eve, was a Sunday so took him to GP out of hours, started him on everything then and was clear by the next day. Keep with the drops for at least a few days however. Oh and happy new car day :)

Vanilla, well done! I wouldn't put up with it either.

Pollybear I think there is one of those in my cupboard somewhere, I got it in a hamper I won I think, yes you're right about the sauce, I definately remember blackcurrant one.

Right, loads to do today, I was going to bake but don't know if I will feel up to it yet, will see how I am later. Or should I just go back to lay on the bed again :o Kids are being great, not fighting at all, probably happy that Mam doesn't even care that the trainsets are all out and go from one door to the other because she feels poorly.

    Happy Birthday Tiddles :D

I forgot my little bit of baking; while the oven was on I made a victoria sandwich which has been cut up and frozen for DH's lunchbox. Saves time through the week and it's easy when it's already packaged up.

Baking a nono for today, making a coffee made me feel sick so think best not. I have rang Tesco who have had DSs specs in since Friday, grr, noone phoned. DP is out until after they close so will have to go for them tomorrow evening. Going to do the shopping while I am there and get the rest of the things to make my first ever Christmas pudding :o just hope it turns out ok.

Sitting room, hall, dining room, kitchen and utility vacuumed, will do conservatory tomorrow as I haven't even opened the door in there all weekend. Brrr too cold in there. I've finished the kitchen, dishwasher on now, hand washed the pans I'd forgot about :o putting them in the oven after cooking is a bad idea as I forget they are there. Sinks now shining as I cleaned that too, and under the drainer, ick.....

I like freezing left overs, I have mashed potato and yorkshires ready cooked defrosting for with dinner, saves part of the preparing when you don't feel 100%. I think it's whatever DS1 had as the fever is the worst bit same as he has. Hence I now feel manky so think I will go in the shower as soon as I can, wake myself up a bit. Will put darks wash on after I've been in.

Boys are sat watching 'Living with Wolves' I recorded last night for them, well DS2, his obsession is wolves and dogs. Poor little tike has cried once already because one died.

    hello all

OH has been despatched home from the station. he came to church this morning so didn't do his usual tidy round.

am taking the service again tonight -almost all prepared, just another few minutes will do it. then i'll stick something on tv and crack on with this enormous pile of marking which i have tonight and some of tomorrow to do. tidying properly can wait!

i don't think i mentioned that on friday i was packing up a lot of my books and there are a lot from one big bookcase that must've got wet when the roof leaked and are all damp and mouldy. not happy at all. think i will have to ring insurers tomorrow morning - does anyone know whether i should say that i just realised they were damp or that they got ruined in the rain this week (my ceiling was leaking again - landlord is aware but no rushing him...OH not happy!) the whole room now smells damp and cold i am glad my wedding dress is at my friends!

    Afternoon all.

Not great here. I hardly slept last night, kept having panic/shakey attacks which I have not had for a while. Overstressed I think.

Feel pants today. Have done the laundry and been to DS2 footie which was so cold and they lost.

Fire on now and I have started making the meercat costume. About to start machining it, DS3 so excited.

Can't even be bothered cooking today so hope nobody is hungry. Catch you all later.

    Happy Birthday Tiddles
