Made hot pot for dinner (with recipe I found somewhere on this board last week). Nice and easy and enough left for tomorrow.
Don't suppose you've got the link? I love hot pot, but never made it.
Is it appropriate to get your boobs out in front of Santa ???

I didn't do it all in one pot though - I never find the veg cooks through enough for me if I do that - so I boiled the potatoes and carrots and onions as though I was just having them boiled, dry fried the mince and added gravy (I made up gravy rather than just use cubes and water, it made it thicker) and let that simmer for about 20 minutes, then bunged it all in together with the baked beans and heated it through for dinner. So I probably made it harder for myself but I do like things cooked well, I'm not very fashionable and don't like crunchy vegetables!0 -
I use Quidco and I've never deleted the cookies, hmm, I've been using it for almost a year and only had 3 transactions which did not track/pay out which I have set up enquiries for out of about 80. I've had quite a bit over the time I have been registered.
Dusty I would work out which offers the best cashback, Pigsback I've found things do tend to track quicker so you get the earnings quicker. Always remember cashback is only a maybe, not a definate as sometimes it doesn't work, people don't get their money so what seems a bargain with the cashback might not be. Quidco payments do tend to be higher, especially on things like insurance etc.
Sorry post was a short and sweet one, usual manic Thursday here, DSs physio/OT session then swimming..just got sat down after sorting dinner (always eat after swimming, learned lesson as boys throw up in the pool if we eat before swimming) sorted boys for bed, filled DW, hung out laundry etc.
I did some of the bathroom today, need some storage something in there, one of the baskets is dropping to bits, but also had nearly an hour lay on the bed, I'd like to say sleep but by the time I'd answered the door twice and answered the phone 4 times I didn't manage to get any so I am going to go for an early night instead. Mouth hurt lots last night so kept on waking me up so feeling pretty tired by now.One day I might be more organised...........

Does having a bath count as flying in the bathroom?
OH just asked me to 'check his bank', his internet banking account. Sure says I, wheres your letter with your ID? 'Dunno' says he 'don't you remember it?'.
Story of our marriage... :rolleyes:0 -
:rotfl: Tiamai same thing happens here, my partner has never been able to log into his online account without asking me for some of the details, he doesn't even know what DDs come out of his bank account, hasn't a clue! Every now and again he gets a little nosey and looks at his bank statement, asks 'what's this for?' etc then that's about it for a few months. One day I might be more organised...........

lil_me, my favourite is 'I thought you knew where everything goes?' and 'Well, how can I be skint? What do you do with all the money?' Flamin men! They are cute, but a bit dim...0
-
Oh yes the 'what does the money go on?' 'do we need that much shopping?' just because I got him to pay with his card he took notice at the £15 I'd spent! If only that was all feeding a family of 4 cost!
Oh the 'we'll invite 12 of my friends over for bbq and beers, £20 will cover it won't it' :rotfl: that was the funniest ever. They are all over 6ft and eat and drink like pigs, try £20 each would be much closer!
Bit dim? You're too nice!!! **Admits some are very good with money, being independant, budgeting, housework, laundry and cooking** Others like my partner just need a second mother. One day I might be more organised...........

Have to say thanks to all you flyladies on here and lil_me for writing the lists to inspire me, I got the best comment ever from my Dad today who has a very dry sense of humour..'have you had the local cleaners in then?...'well at least he noticed0

OMG! Lil_me, my BIL had a BBQ once, and asked everyone for £20 to cover the food, drink and ACTUAL BBQ! And how did he end up bankrupt?
D&DD It's great when you start to see a big difference, now you have to keep it up! I admit to spraying Mr'Muscle polish about when guests are due in so it smells clean!0 -
not been on today as have been mega busy with kids, but thought I;d come on for a quick moan!
I've had suspicious activity on my eBay account, in fact I think its been hacked. I've had a bunch of emails saying some items have been listed, and my password has been changed and my security info that I provide to reset my password has also been changed. What a pain. B*st*rds.
I've emailed eBay to see what they cay. Its made me relsuctant to ever go near eBay again
